Selfishly I hope the season continues but sensibly you have to ask how on earth clubs can sustain this. I'm afraid it's looking bleak.
Not sure if it's coincidence or not but not one of those teams higher than 10th place in their respective divisions.

I know how serious this situation is as my own family has paid the ultimate price due to covid but if these teams were really that concerned about the health & safety of their players, staff, families etc why did they not make these representations sooner?

I think we know why....

If the suspension does come into effect then I would suspect that there will be promotion from the NLP and from NLS & NLN as last season. Play offs likely to take place in the summer. On points per game St Albans champions and the Darts in third place. Dorking, Hungerford, Oxford, H&R and H&W taking up the play off places. If this happens then fair to the clubs that have performed this season thus far.

Is it not so that 75% of fixtures have to be fulfilled for PPG to determine the final standings or have I made that up?

I did think that was the case also to be fair. However, season suspension will actually mean abandoned.

There are so many sad aspects of the Covid pandemic and I'm very sorry to hear of your loss Steve.

There have been so many examples of selfless acts, like the efforts of NHS staff for example.

What is so very disappointing though is the utterly selfish way in which the National League and many of its member clubs have acted during this season, just looking after their own individual interests rather than the entire league, all member clubs and supporters overall.
