I'm going for Captain Bonner for MOTM.
He was playing really well at CB and has moved to LB to help the team and continued his good form there.

Re: Darts v Hungerford on Sat 16 January
Overall we were the better side and possession and chance wise we did enough to win the game, but a combination of squandered opportunities and great goalkeeping kept us at bay. Hungerford's keeper was my MOTM today but for us I went for captain Tom Bonner. Hungerford are one of the better sides we've played and there were lots of positives, but I'm definitely NOT in the "satisfied" camp though, because anything less than a win at home is a fail for me, albeit only a partial one.

One thing I do know about tho is fans! From getting petitions up to doing fans United , to being chairman of supporters clubs. I firmly believe with a crowd today , second half we would of sucked that ball in the net. I firmly believe at poorly supported clubs like Welling, hungerford, Dorking etc tat our away support is worth a goal start, We have flair players , they thrive on cheers and praise. I may just be me but all u can hear at the games at minute is about four people on every bench shouting instructions , I suspect players are very confused with instructions! Fan noise is so important, another season with no fans will kill football

I know a few people on here (one in particular
) think we are a bit deluded by maintaining that the team is better than it really is; and certainly better than some of the performances and results suggest so far this season.
Perhaps I am deluded then, but I firmly believe we are capable of so much more. This is based on the second half of last season and the additional quality players Kingy has bought in.
The main difference is whereas last season Romain and McQueen scored for fun, goals have been much harder to find this year. Is that because we aren't creating so many chances or simply that we aren't finishing them? Possibly a bit of each? Today was an example of a game I feel we would have won reasonably comfortably last season.
The defence generally has been excellent, the midfield show lots of skill and flair but perhaps lacking in quality of final balls. Forwards (all of them!) haven't been as clinical but I still sense they haven't enjoyed the quality of service of last season.
My frustration (and I sense Kingy's too) is that I honestly feel this team is capable of so much more. I remain convinced that we are a top two or three side (not mid table, as some are saying).
I still think this will be borne out by the end of the season... which will prompt one particular person on here to crawl back under the stone they came from.... please!

Get a grip? That’s a bit much isn’t it, bearing in mind you’ve totally not understood the initial post..

Unlike the one given by a rival manager from an adjacent county, where the toys came flying out of the pram so fast this afternoon it must have set a new world record.
