Great commentary, is anyone else brave enough to say we don't look like a table topping side still? I'm afraid that's 2 points dropped. The last two games have been better but over 90 mins today I'm not sure we were that impressive? We don't have a right to win but this seems a regular position of accepting less than 3 points?
As I said a couple weeks ago, we look like a playoff team at best if not mid table. I got shot down for it. We're not scoring enough goals to maintain a top position and that's the facts. Some people on this forum are just in denial!
I agree - I think that whilst we are capable of playing exceptionally well we flatter to deceive too often.
Our back four are very solid and up front at least Charlie has shown aptitude. Our midfield especially without Jacob, lacks guile and we don't seem to be able to play out wide often enough or to get in good crosses. There's a little something missing and until we find it we won't look like a table topping outfit.
I was not that disappointed with a draw as Hungerford are a hard team to beat and we have taken 4 points from them this season don’t think many teams will do that
Think we miss JBJ and Noor in midfield hopefully they will be back soon should have won it in the end but we move onto Tuesday and hopefully another 3 points,
As for UTD he said he didn’t watch the game Tuesday but watched it today couldn’t really work out who he really supports as Many of our Local teams played Tuesday but today Welling didn’t play and he comments on our game or i am just jumping to conclusions
Until injury time I was reasonably happy with a point- aside from the Hungerford keeper saving a Luke Allen shot I don't think we did enough after equalizing to win the game. But those two chances in injury time...the only mistake that Hungerford's centre half Emmerson (in my opinion the best player on the pitch) made in the game, the ball falls to Allen... and he misses. The keeper must have got a toe on the ball to divert it wide. And then from the resulting corner Hill/ Essam's header is somehow kept out. The players seemed convinced that the ball had crossed the line, but the ref wasn't interested and it was the wrong side of the pitch for the linesman to see clearly- on another day I wonder if a thousand screaming fans would have influenced the ref's decision? Result aside it was an entertaining game and a fair point against a good team.
Ijhala had another great game in the middle, as did Allen (wayward shooting aside). L'Ghoul was good again and he really ran his socks off. Most of our best moments came when he was involved. Wynter looked assured at right back before going off injured- which is a concern because we seem to be running extremely low on defenders. Thankfully we don't seem to have a game on Tuesday so hopefully a week's rest will do the team some good.

The don, I don’t think ANYBODY looks like a table topping team! Everyone is either not amazingly good or all amazingly good and cancelling each other out! I didn’t think Weymouth and Wealdstone were amazing last year but they went up! I couldn’t back a team to win this division, think a dark horse may arise, I thought Maidstone, ebbsfleet would go great guns this year, it’s up for grabs!!
Fair comment, although St Albans looked pretty strong when they came to PP and have only lost one game? They certainly looked better than us.
St Albans,Dorking and Havent have not played each other yet we have to play them all away so plenty to play for.
Yes, we only got 3 from 9 at home so let's hope we can do it away from PP.

2 points dropped for sure, being reasonably pleased at home drawing with Hungerford is for the birds, need to win these home games.
Need to win more often, not just against poor sides.
MoM is a toughy but I'm giving my vote to Tom Bonner for an assured game at left back (or was he the left side of a back three?) either way he showed everyone how to cross a ball.
First half was pretty even, the only difference being they converted their one decent chance and we didn't.
Second half i felt we had a little more urgency and tempo to our game and can feel unlucky not to have won it.
But i feel we are still capable of a lot more and without us fans cheering the lads on, they need to find a way to play at a higher tempo all game.
Hungerford are a well organised side and good at the fine arts of football, no doubt they will be happier with the result than us.
Two pretty decent performances on the spin but unlike Tuesday, we didn't have as many chances or take the good ones that came our way.
Having said that we are missing full backs who can get forward and create some width for us which i think is a big loss.
One point against against stubborn, direct and somewhat of an awkward opposition in Hungerford, credit to them they are good at what they do but I am very pleased I don't have to watch them again this season smashing the ball end to end and bombing long throws into the box.
Surely they knew we have four (inc Ronnie Vint) of the best central defenders in the league, there was no way Boner, Hill or Essam were ever going to concede from a direct throw.
They will take points from title other title rivals no doubt with that tactic.
We created enough chances over the game to win, but again we did not score first, and once again did not manage to score in the first half. Their keeper made a couple of great saves to keep them in it, and we certainly didn't get any luck late on with either Luke chance nor the header from the corner.
It's a point, not what we wanted but certainly a point hard earned.
When is our next scheduled game ? Have we rescheduled for Tuesday ? Or do we get a free week ?
I’ve been heavily involved in football all my life ,and I can honestly say I still haven’t a clue ! One thing I do know about tho is fans! From getting petitions up to doing fans United , to being chairman of supporters clubs. I firmly believe with a crowd today , second half we would of sucked that ball in the net. I firmly believe at poorly supported clubs like Welling, hungerford, Dorking etc tat our away support is worth a goal start, We have flair players , they thrive on cheers and praise. I may just be me but all u can hear at the games at minute is about four people on every bench shouting instructions , I suspect players are very confused with instructions! Fan noise is so important, another season with no fans will kill football
