If the bar opens at 1pm and the turnstiles open at 1.30pm , the bar staff will be kicking their heels for 30 minutes .
Re: FA CUP: AFC Uckfield Town
Access to the bar and clubhouse is through the car park.

Not so sure that the Darts fans will be in the majority, they ( Uckfield) will consider this as their Cup Final and i am pretty sure the locals will be out in force for this one, not to mention the group of Norwegian Tourist who have requested tickets so they can experience an FA Cup tieEl Kebabus of Arabia wrote:Such a big banana skin this one if we are anything but prepared, hope it's along the lines of Chipstead a number of years ago. Darts fans should be in the majority down there. Hoping for a smooth passage to the next round, good prize money for a run to the first round. COYD!

This is what makes the FA Cup such a wonderful competition, "at this level at least?" it gives these clubs a chance to make a bit of money,
not to mention the Bar Takings

So COYD and no banana skins please!!!!!

My first Darts match of the season tomorrow. First things first is find a parking spot close to ground just outside village. Looking at map seems to be a few houses close by, so hopefully be able to park down one of those streets.
A win is essential but it's their cup final and they'll be right up for it.
Good luck to all.

Wasn't their previous round (the first to my knowledge) against Southwick? Croydon had some beefy players out there.

The Southwick match was the FA Vase.
Re: FA CUP: AFC Uckfield Town
On the one hand, this is a welcome break from the pressure of our somewhat uninspiring start to the league campaign. Then again, if we slip up it would be the biggest fail of the season so far and would undo the improved feelgood factor that has emerged from the progress made in the last couple of games. Of course there's a huge gap between the two sides and we have to be considered massive favourites, but a side that's in such great form have to be considered dangerous and I hope ALL of our lads are 100% up for this game as Uckfield certainly will be. In the context of the season so far, we need to make absolutely sure we win this game.
