So, so, much better than recent games. Even at halftime and no goals, there was a different feel about the game in that when we did go forward, there was always a feeling there was a chance of a goal. There was also a feeling of more confidence in the team. I certainly enjoyed watching this game. A massive improvement. Not perfect. Still need to get better at crosses. Femi still a bit rusty having had so few games recently. Big credit to Josh Hill on taking his chance. One loose ba early on, but otherwise I thought he slotted in well. It seemed strange not seeing Tom at the centre of the defence, but I thought we benefitted hugely from his forward passes which in the main were always to the foot, and not up in the air. Ijalha, especially in the 2nd half, got through a lot of solid work, and possibly the best I have seen him play, although I think he took time to make a contribution in the early part of the game. Congrats to Charlie on a well taken hattrick. Also to N'Ghoul, especially in reading the game and seeing the opportunity to winning the obvious penalty. However, he needs to be reminded it is a team game when wanting to take the penalty. Nuff said!
So well done Darts. Credit when credit is due.
Now on to Hungerford on Saturday.

And why don’t you post anything?
It’s just proof, not that it’s needed, of your passion to criticise and be negative and have nothing good to say.
Now get lost.

I literally posted my thoughts, I wasn't watching the stream so couldn't comment mid game........

Was it a perfect hat-trick by Charlie? Depends on whether the first one was with his left foot.
Thoroughly commanding performance by all the King’s men tonight. Bonner was excellent as was Ijaha, but the returning hat-trick hero must get my vote. Loved the cross from Bonner into Connor for our first!

Solid efficiency and a thoroughly well deserved 3points, most certainly lifted the spirits after Saturdays disappointment. The line-up tonight very clearly demonstrated how much strength we have in depth within the squad.

Ijaha, best display in a Darts shirt so far, gets my nod for MOTM.

Another very tough game on Saturday but with teams around us not having league fixtures another win can stretch us further clear at the top. Bring on Saturday 👊

Obviously Charlie MOTM, but Ijaha had an excellent game. A much better performance than recently. Roll on Saturday.

Very good victory this evening and great to see some of the fringe players take their chances.
Luke Allen deserves a run in the side now, and Josh Hill has waited patiently for his chance too.
Let’s hope we see a settled side going forward for the next few games now.

Saturday was a debacle but this was more like it and put that smile back into face. Recall Charlie, he is on fire. Glad he took the pen, it was common sense that he took it as he was on a hattrick. Mr N Ghoul was rightly hacked off, if he was the designated taker, but I am sure he is over it now. He is a tricky, skilled player that will get better and better, keep calm and carry on lad!
Pleased, very pleased we won.

Whoever it was that said they cannot see the merit in L’Ghoul’s game, hopefully has after last night. He is a flair player, full of deft touches and trickery, and whilst we do have a strong squad, someone willing to take on opposition at speed is a rare commodity.
I think Nassim will start most games for which he is fit in the reminder of the season now.

Could Steve King sending Charlie out on loan to re-discover his scoring touch at the same level be the masterstroke of the season?
