Most unlike BB to be caught up in foul play warranting a sending off. I know there was a period towards the end of the game when it seemed we took an age to take a corner. Was it then? I do agree that the defender pulling back one of our attackers should have been red carded and I thought the ref was walking to the sidelines to consult the lino.
It was shown Pete, it was for a very late tackle. From what I saw I wouldn’t have said it was a red card although it was very late, I wasn’t sure if he’d already been booked and that’s why he went but live scores shows it as a straight red. I saw somebody walk off the pitch but didn’t know who until shown on live scores.
It’ll be interesting to see if there are any high lites which are a lot better than the actual streaming and will show the incident clearer. Braintree’s forward was put through and as Barnum-Bobb came across the edge of the box he was very late and caught their player.

On the Jebb point, I agree he was poor, his set pieces weren’t up to scratch and is a bit too much like a passenger in away games. I’d rather a more energetic CDM to play there because we lack urgency. Marsh Brown was also too much like a passenger unfortunately. Both players have talent but we need a change up.
King really needs to think over our system because we aren’t getting enough out of our strikers. Sheringham has 5 in 5 at Chelmsford so it shows that it’s our system which is the problem. It seriously needs to be shaken up or we’ll throw this title challenge away soon. Warning signs have been evident ever since that Eastbourne away performance and continued against Haringey. A real think up needed.

Anybody notice how up the darts doesn’t reply after six o clock, must be his bath time! Anybody happy about today must be a track short of a album, it was really poor. Thing is tho a season is full of shit performances, unexpected highs and boring draws, I believe we in play offs afterwards, only one team will win it, with our proper sensible budget it probably isn’t us

I just wasn't aware that Barnum Bob had been red carded, especially with the poor quality imagery. What was his offence and did it show up on streaming and was it picked up by camera or was it off screen?

Glad it wasn't just me then, have now cancelled my appointment at Specsavers!

We lacked any urgency today, and at certain points in the game looked to be playing the long high ball.

Long way to go still but need to start putting in crosses in the box and pray we can get someone on the end of it!

No MOTM for me today!

What was worse the stream or the performance?
To be completely honest both were unacceptable.

Credit where it’s due but that was not applicable today.

No panic here, we could finish bottom of the league and I would still support.

My message is stop tinkering now, try and get a settled side out there, if it’s not that then what could it be?

Need to bounce back Tuesday with at least a better performance, let’s start there, make it better, please!

Are we all expecting too much. Remember where we were at the beginning of last season and be thankful. We haven`t got out of first gear yet. Looking forward to a gear change soon. We have one of the best non league managers, who will sort it, hopefully soon.

Thanks 5th for that update. Just hope there are some highlights released. I thought clubs had to have the game recorded anyway, but not necessarily available for general release.
I think today's match was the most disappointing I have seen in a very long time and today we never really came out of the starting blocks until the very end and some of the players just weren't at the races today. The squad certainly owe us one to bounce back in the next game. I thought Tonbridge were the worst team I have seen this season, with Greenhaigh and Henley their best players. I didn't think Braintree were that much better, but they did keep the pressure on us and on the deserved their victory. Not for the first time, a top v bottom fixture doesn't always go as expected.

Judging by the tweet put out by the Braintree manager this morning it would appear that it wasn’t just on the pitch that we were a mess yesterday.

i wouldn't worry about that Svenners!!
I am reliably imformed that although the team bus arrived before 13.00, they were told to stay on the bus until 13.30, & subsequently were not allowed access to the ground until 13.45.
After the game they were informed that they were not allowed to shower, no food of any kind was provided & were instructed to get on the bus immediately & leave!! Still caked in mud!!
The home team of course were allowed in pre-match as per normal & enjoyed a hot shower after the game!!
Now i'm all for removing the light bulb in the away teams dressing room to gain any advantage you can but i'm pretty sure that it's a league requirement/law to provide access at 13.30 latest pre-match, & hot showers & a warm meal post-match for any opponents??
If they want to insist it's all down to Covid then surely it applies to both teams??
