My takeaway turned up just at the final whistle so i've had time to chill but unfortunately the cooling off period hasn't made me change my view.
That was a really disappointing performance and a backward step from Tuesday and i think the players have to take the responsibility for it, regardless of formation or tactics.

IMO they didn't show enough urgency or play with any real tempo until inexplicably the last 10 mins when we were down to 10 men?
In contrast to Tuesday we created very few chances today and our wide players (including full backs) weren't really in the game at all.
For some unknown reason after going down to 10 men we had an extra yard of pace, showed more urgency than we had the rest of the game and as a result caused them problems, but we can't leave it that late and expect to get anything from the game. That is why i feel the players let themselves down today, they need to get back to being on the front foot, closing teams down more and making things happen.

A very disappointing day but we have got another game coming up on Tuesday to put things right, the perfect opportunity for the players to show a lot more drive and determination than they did today and get us back on track.

If the red card on JBB was warranted so was a red for their guy who pulled back Femi (i think) but in all honesty we have got to rely on our own performances rather than referee's decisions, individual mistakes cost us as well.

I find it interesting/disappointing that after a poor performance this thread is already twice as long as any other for quite some time with some of the comments over the top and unfair (disregarding the troll), but no doubt some will disagree with that.
We can all see where the improvements need to be made but perhaps we could all do with getting things a bit more in perspective as we are meeting our "realistic" expectations, albeit a bit bumpy at the moment.

MOTM, struggling on that one.....

Kingy is a good manager but something is wrong
We just ain't doing it on the pitch.
I suppose after last seasons huge improvement when Steve came in we all thought that we would walk this league.
I have a lot of faith in Kingy but something is lacking at the moment I don't know what it is but I hope that we can find the performances that we saw before the 1st lockdown otherwise it is play offs at best..
Maybe a bit more aggression and a little less tippy tappy passing ....just an observation.

Valid point.

To be fair, Park Life, a third of the pages in this long thread were posts made before the game even started, mainly about the streaming.

You are the forum equivalent of a broken clock. Although you may appear to be correct once in every 720 occasions, nobody takes any notice because they know there's no functioning mechanism behind it and it's always going to say the same thing regardless.

I just wasn't aware that Barnum Bob had been red carded, especially with the poor quality imagery. What was his offence and did it show up on streaming and was it picked up by camera or was it off screen?
Most unlike BB to be caught up in foul play warranting a sending off. I know there was a period towards the end of the game when it seemed we took an age to take a corner. Was it then? I do agree that the defender pulling back one of our attackers should have been red carded and I thought the ref was walking to the sidelines to consult the lino.
