The fact that the country is now being plunged into yet another National lock down, and yet we are still playing, suggests to me that this season ought to run its course. Sadly, I fear that we will be allowed to see none of it as draconian measures, once introduced by politicians, are relaxed much more gradually. The financial hit will be painful, but we have a good team in charge and they are working wonders to keep the club afloat in these difficult times.

Disappointed that we could not beat the Fleet on Saturday, but another point in the credit column and a clean sheet as well. I do not watch the streaming, but if the late challenge on the keeper was as bad as he felt it was (gutted about the red card), there is one Fleet player that will be grateful that there are no Dartford fans at Stonehenge Road later this year for the return.

Good luck to the remaining non-leaguers in the FA Cup this weekend. Feeling for the real Marine fans. Imagine being barred from such a plum home tie.

Hoping that we can bag some goals tonight to give everybody a lift and to put us back on top of the league.
