Craig King has been banned for three matches after receiving a red card during the fracas after the final whistle.

I think it should have been a definite red card for Grant too for his challenge on Craig. He followed through and dragged his left foot into Craig when the natural thing would have been to lift his foot and step over Craig. Seemed intentional to me! That was also my first impression on the live stream. Craig should not have reacted at the end, but the incident was so close to the end of the game for Craig to be upset. Other defenders also were unhappy at the original challenge.

I think you are right, Pete. Unfortunately what the goalkeeper later did was clearcut and left no room for interpretation.

Definitely 2 x nailed on Penalties there?
And I’m not sure Dicksons goal was Offside either?

A stupid Red Card for Craig King , IF he felt that Grant did try to " do him " then surely a swift kick in the b....ks in the tunnel away from the Ref would have been the sensible thing to do , as it is he has a 3 card suspension and Grant is probably gloating thinking what a tw.t King was !!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. Stupid.

Having only seen the highlights, I thought Dickson looked pretty lively and a bit of a threat - am I mistaken?

It was a poor game to watch, I get that, but with regard to the "forum police" nonsense, please let's not start that rubbish again. As long as your comments are not abusive or illegal, you can and always will be able to say what you like on here. Just remember that if someone (or sometimes everyone) doesn't agree with you then that's just tough. In my view, of all the things that ever get written on here, the most pathetic of all is to shout "forum police" every time someone has the audacity to disagree with you. The purpose of the forum seems to be lost on some people. Personally, I think it would be hard to disagree with anyone saying this was a poor game, but equally, Reg has a perfect right to argue that it wasn't, over and over again if he so wishes. Anyone who can't accept that really shouldn't be using the forum.
As for the game itself, I agree with those who felt it was drab and boring but I've watched a lot of football this season and without the crowds cheering them on, almost all of these games have been drab and boring, even at the highest levels! Football needs fans, without them games are dull and lifeless and players perform accordingly. Of course it is the same for everybody so that can't be used as an excuse, but simply a statement of what I believe to be a fact. So in the absence of fans and with the sterile atmosphere at the games, the objective must simply be to just get on with it and win as many games as possible until they let us back in again. To that end, we aren't doing too badly are we? ... and if the ref hadn't denied us two clear penalties, one of which was absolutely nailed on, we would be sitting top of the league. At this stage it seems a bit daft to be asking "what's gone wrong?"
Let's not forget that Kingy has made tremendous strides since he took over what was little more than a shambolic pub team just over a year ago. We are challenging for the title and I am very confident we'll be there or thereabouts at the finish. Keep the faith guys, there's a long way to go.

Well said Spike
Re: Ebbsfleet (H) Saturday 2nd Jan
I enjoy reading people’s views on the games, never had issue with that, BUT I do find exception when the same old people attack those GIVING a view on the game, warts and all if they felt we under achieved or didn’t play well. A big difference there about what I said and what I didn’t say.
I was sticking up for all views, they should be posted but there is a certain person on here that rips into anyone who does not sing from his song sheet, he is not the forum police.
There I said it again, happy that riled you there Spike.
