Ebbsfleet (H) Saturday 2nd Jan
Re: Ebbsfleet (H) Saturday 2nd Jan
Eastbourne, Haringey and Ebbsfleet.
3 indifferent results and 1 goal
I rate our manager but the facts are there
Too many players, especially our strikers who have not produced
I don't know why but what has happened to the team who thumped Chelmsford back in March?
Today was a tough watch.
Hopefully Kingy will sort things out because we have lost our way a little.

We won't have long to wait to get things sorted as the club has just announced that we are playing Tonbridge at home on Tuesday night.

Steve Kings post match interview:-

Of the two penalty claims, the first one was stone wall. How the ref never gave it was ridiculous.

Just watched the second one again in super slo mo and that's looks like a really decent shout for a pen as well.
It looks like Nassim is trying to bring the ball back inside with the inside of his right foot and their defender takes his left foot and brings him down. To be fair at the time i wasn't sure but we can count ourselves extremely unlucky not to have got one of those decisions (and not for the first time this season).
But in football law it is written these things even themselves out over the season so we should get quite a few soon.

Agree with Parky, thought the first one was a pen watching the live stream, having seen it back it's a clear a penalty that has been missed by the referee.
I would be amazed if even Ebbsfleet supporters thought differently.
Roll on Tuesday hopefully both squads can remain COVID free so we can play.

6 away and 11 scored. That half glass empty Chas needs a little topping up. The home form table has us third and the away form table fifth . Um !!!!!Charlieboy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 7:53 pm Nine home games played including cup matches only eight goals scored.
Negativity is a tendency to be downbeat, disagreeable, and skeptical. It's a pessimistic attitude that always expects the worst. ... Negativity is an attitude that always expects such negative things to happen. "I bet it'll rain during our picnic!" and "No one could ever love me!" are examples of negativity and "why don't we win 5 nil every week"

Reg, you need to let others have their say and view, you need to stop being the Puredfc police, it’s getting irritating now to the point that I will not bother anymore and join the droves of decent DFC fans who no longer post.

Just checking as I didn’t see the match today.
Are you able to access the streamed footage after the game has been played if you have a season ticket but hadn’t originally logged in to watch the match??
I’m only asking because it says that if you have paid for the game then you have access to it for 1 week & obviously a season ticket means it’s been paid for. OR do you have to have logged in and accessed the game prior to kick off to then be able to watch it after the match?
I’d like to see it if possible without watching just the highlights although from the comments on here & listening to the final few minutes on Radio Kent it wasn’t the greatest of games.
I don’t know what actually went on in the game between Craig King & Ebbsfleets Grant except it sounded like a late challenge by Grant on King but Radio Kent was talking about the incident at the end of the game whilst it was all happening and it sounded like Kingy wasn’t happy at all and it all kicked off with the two at the end of the game, saying that King could well be in trouble.
It sounded like it kicked off with quite a few players, subs & management teams from both sides getting involved with Bonner taking a real exception to something. The way Kent was going on they made it sound more eventful & exciting than the actual game itself.

Re: Ebbsfleet (H) Saturday 2nd Jan
I can’t believe all these comments about us not having a striker who can score goals

We’ve got one who has scored 5 goals this season and currently sits joint 8th in the leagues highest scorers.
It’s just a pity that he’s currently scored 4 of the 5 goals for another team

.
Hurry back Charlie.
