Interesting [ and impressed] that Kingy in his interview admitted that he got original line up wrong and corrected it with a great outcome , will we see a basic 4 3 3 [ incl Marsh Brown] tomorrow , hope so cause [ in my opinion] thats when we would look at our fluid best and most likely to score . Hope Bayaoko [spelling ? - new guy 2 in 2 games ] is fit to start !!!!

So, my personal Wembley dream continues. This competition has been such a big part of my DFC life - great memories and I think the King can take us all the way. I just don't get fans that think cups are a distraction - this competition is massive. Think it's only 6 games to the holy grail...

Llamaman, If you remember you all had to pay on the gate for all FA cup games, season ticket didn't count they are for league matches only.

That is the bones of what I wanted to say, even Ebbsfleet when they were spending like there was no tomorrow found offering free entry to cup ties for all of their season ticket holders too expensive .

Happy to have another game to watch and hope that we progress through to the next round. Would never want to dismiss any cup competition. Nothing wrong with expecting to win this tie but we have no right to win. Would like to see 4-3-3 from the start but whatever formation we play i think we should have enough to win.
Merry Christmas to all

Most definitely. Anyone who recalls the Taylor years will remember all the cup success we had in the four seasons that Peter was manager. Okay, it could be argued that the cup runs were partially to blame for missing out on one or even two titles but the number of cup matches played each season was probably around 20. We play nothing like that number these days and with the squad depth we have we shouldn’t be afraid of any cup run. It’s all part of the fun for us supporters or why bother going to football? The Don wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 4:53 pm So, my personal Wembley dream continues. Have to feel for the HBFC fans missing out on a visit to PP. Been a while since we made significant progress in the trophy, so hoping for a good game and decent result (also hoping to see more than half an hour of the match!).
If King builds the team around JBA, it’s difficult to see us losing, Haringay will of course have their own talisman and think the same, but Jacob just oozes class.
Have upgraded to a clever TV for all this watching at home malarkey, theoretically putting an end to all the nonsense of hooking up laptops etc.
Provided the paste and copy function is enabled we should be ok.
