Well said as always. An excellent win. The sort of win that goes to help so much when the prizes are given out. Well done everyone both players and management alike.Park Life wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 9:29 pm Steve King post Hungerford:-

I really do feel that our lads and manager are doing fantastically well and maybe the performances are not getting the plaudits they deserve. There's no doubt in my mind that the games would look and feel so much better with a live audience. The facts are that we've had a phenomenally difficult start to the season yet have come through with flying colours. The in-depth quality of our squad is better than I can ever remember and every single one of them is worthy of a place in the team. Today was a really hard earned victory against quality opponents and I am absolutely delighted. It was a good day for me as I seem to be one of the few who had unbroken, perfect coverage of the game. Darts were excellent in the second half and Jacob was phenomenal. Steve King 's achievements so far are incredible, it's just such a terrible shame that we aren't able to be there watching it. COYD

I didn't realise but 8 of our 11 games have been against teams in the top half of the league and two of the next three games are against the other two.spike wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 11:43 pm I really do feel that our lads and manager are doing fantastically well and maybe the performances are not getting the plaudits they deserve. So yeah, that is a very difficult start to the season and so far we have done great.

Saw the first 55 minutes and that was it for me. First half streaming was excellent and then it all went tits up. Can't wait to see the goals.

I saw none of the 1st half but most of the 2nd half.Ozymandias wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 2:08 am Saw the first 55 minutes and that was it for me. First half streaming was excellent and then it all went tits up. Can't wait to see the goals.

I only saw the 2nd half but we were far the better side and our keeper only had a few crosses to deal with.
Jacobs goals were unstoppable and once we equalised we were favourites for the 3 points.
Well done the King ,we are so.lucky to have this man at the helm.
COYDsss.

Like Spike, I seem to have been one of the few who had a decent experience with the streaming, which I thought was pretty good. The "instant" replays were a worthwhile feature and something for us to consider within our service. Ironically the only buffering problem I had was in paying for my voluntary subscription!
As for the match, the first half we struggled to get going with any sort of rhythm. The penalty seemed a fair decision to me, but the problem was caused by Connor Essam being caught flat footed in the lead up to the incident. In fact a similar situation had occurred not long before, which we were fortunate to escape from without harm, although not sure whether Essam was the culprit then or not.
2nd half a totally different story, or at least it was after the substitutions, with Jacob B-A making a big impact. He is so good to watch on the ball. A gem of a player and no surprise he is ahead of the MOTM vote by a country mile.

I was fortunate enough to have a trouble free 90 minute stream and enjoyed the quality and the replays and the commentary, which wasn't overly biased I didn't think.
I thought we edged the first half in terms of possession, so were a bit unfortunate to be behind. The second half saw us step up a gear, started playing our better fast passing game, and deservedly take the points with two outstanding goals from Jacob.
I'm so impressed with the quality and depth of this squad and I just feel there is so much more to come, even though results wise, it's been been an outstanding start.
I think Spike is right though, if we were watching it live, it would look much better than watching the streaming. I'm very grateful for those who provide this, but it really is awful not seeing it live.
Steve King has overseen an incredible transformation and I honestly feel this is only the start!

' Gave them a decent chat' at half time. I'm sure he did. They needed it after the 55 minutes I saw. Jacob Berkeley Agyepong 'a game changer' and winner. Running across the goal with the ball stuck to his boot like shit. When he was on loan to us last season I thought it would be wonderful to get him with us. King's best signing, Dartford's best signing in years.
The only way is up.

Steve King is right ,we have so much quality on the bench and it proved its worth on saturday.
2 good changes up front then bringing on Hill at the back to see us home, simply great tactics.
