Many thanks DA1 for the 2nd website tip,it worked for me after missing all the 1st half ,the lads came good and were much the better side.
Jacobs 1st came from a knockdown header which thumped home
and his winner came when he went across the area and rifled in an unstoppable
Left foot missile.
We dealt with their attacks quite well and the 3 points are very well earned.

Two good goals from Jacob who clearly had a point to prove after last week's red card (albeit rescinded) and being dropped to the bench for today's game. We were unlucky to be heading in 1-0 down at half time after an extremely soft penalty decision went against us. However, a couple of good subs turned the game on its head and I don't think Hungerford every really threatened to get an equalizer. I definitely would have taken a point from this one, so coming away with three is brilliant!
Jacob is the only choice for MOM, but i thought Husin and Jebb both had good games in the middle. They weren't given the space and time they would have liked, but they both worked their socks off for the team. McCallum looked a bit off the pace in the first half and gave away the penalty but had a much better second half.

Bloody good wasn't it?

Our Twitter feed doesn't mention bookings for reasons unknown, the Hungerford one mentions their own bookings.Capricorn25 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:07 pmNot sure if I missed any, but I made it 5-4 in Hungerford's favour
I'm sure someone knows the players that did.

I can't pass any comment on the first half, but going on some twitter updates later, it seems the penalty seemed a bit of a soft touch, so will be interested to see the highlights for that incident. It looks like the MoM was the referee, both on the number of cautions issued, many of which seemed tame. I think he summed up his own performance when stepping out a needless 10 yards on a Darts free kick in the 2nd half outside the HT penalty area when the HT players were already obviously more than 10 yards back. Obvious time wasting by the match official. Yet has the audacity to book Josh Hill when taking a free kick near the end.
Second half seemed a little messy and disjointed by both teams at first, but then we seemed to suddenly step up a gear and delighted to turn the game around. This could end up being a very important win and 3 points come the end of the season. Congrats Darts.

Winter go booked, Dickson got booked Hussin should have been booked for a foul throw (worse than a schoolboy error!!) and I think there was another one?

If you're interested in foul throws, have a look at the one that led to Jacob's second goal.

To be fair to the Hungerford players i also didnt think that Jacob was a threat 2 yards in from the touchline and 35 yards out. Of course then he still had to run 30 yards across the field and bury it from 25 yards into the bottom corner so I cant be too harsh on them.
