Re: We might be going back to watch football
It is estimated that if Dartford is in tier 1 we will be allowed to have a maximum attendance of approximately 2,050 and if Dartford is in tier 2 we will be allowed to have a maximum attendance of approximately 2,000.
If Dartford is placed in tier 3 you can guess what will happen.

Sounds like a good idea but none of these new changes come into effect until the 2nd December and we play Eastbourne on the 1st, it's also not clear yet whether they will allow away fans anywayReginald Horsfield wrote: ↑Mon Nov 23, 2020 9:14 pm Not sure about our Tier but if allowed both by Eastbourne and by Government law, let's all bomb it down to Eastbourne come what may. Be like a Mods Weekend parkie

If I've got this right and worse case we are placed into tier 3 on Thursday we would have another review 14 days later so just enough time to watch the next game at home to Riccay on the 12th December. It would be a bit tight and a lot of work for the club but I'm hoping.
POST EDITED THANKS TO RING OF FIRES NEXT POST
I made the foolish mistake of checking the official web page fixtures and Eastbourne game is still showing as the 1st December but it has been moved to Saturday the 5th

Eastbourne moved to Saturday 5th. Will await the Cup (Tier) Draw on Thursday.
Re: We might be going back to watch football
They will probably state no away fans though Reg, so don’t wear your Dfc bobble hat?

Re: We might be going back to watch football
I see from an article in the "Messenger" a report of an emergency meeting between Kent County Council and the borough of Bexley about the transmission of the virus from the higher tier London Borough across the "border" to the lower tier Kent. This problem will be even greater if some parts
of Kent are in a higher tier than others.

Re: We might be going back to watch football
That film clip took me back, we were bikers or rockers thereafter right at the start of the era and 6 of us all parked our bikes in the car park at Margate by the station in ignorance that mods were meeting up that day.
We went for a walk and saw hundreds of mods charging across the beach waving deckchairs so thought it best to leave quickly.
When we got back to the bikes it was the pack of cards situation where the mods had visited and kicked the first bike over and they fell one onto another and were all on the ground.
Mine was a racing machine with a fibreglass petrol tank and it left a small crack leaking fuel but I managed to get home.
