First half was like a pre season friendly and i thought we were lacking in tempo but they still didn't cause us any problems.
Started second half with much more urgency and once the goals went in the result was never in doubt, i can't recall Ethan having one save to make the whole game. Only time they got a real sniff at goal was the one misjudgement but Connor came to the rescue.
Ironically we never created as many chances today as we have in most of our other games but when they came Chris took full advantage and that made such a difference.

Referee had a mad five minutes when i thought the yellow for Elliott and red for Jacob were poor decisions, i'm sure we will appeal the red but poor Elliott has to take it on the chin.

We were solid 1st half, ruthless 2nd half and everyone played a big part. My stand out players were Connor, Tom, Jordan and Jack but my MOTM goes to Chris Dickson because when those goals go in it changes everything.

Think we should cut the guys some slack who are doing the videoing/commentary as whilst we may not agree or they might not get everything right, they are all volunteers and i'm very grateful we can at least watch the games. Perhaps some suggestions may be better to improve things for everyone?

Well it's ten games gone and a chance to assess where we are.
IMO we have done very well so far and i firmly believe if we were in the ground we would get a much better appreciation of what good football we are playing and what a good squad of players we have.
We are top of the league which is where i was hoping we'd be but above expectations so really pleased as the league also seems to be a lot more competitive this season.
We have not had an easy game and i still believe there is a lot more to come from our talented squad and genuinely think someone could get a real hammering sometime soon.
Steve King and his management team have done a fantastic job since they arrived at the club, they are always looking at improving things even when we win and not afraid to make big decisions. They have have turned us from relegation candidates to promotion challengers and i am confident we will be right in the mix at the end of the season. :) :)

Park life always hits it in the button, and if on terraces I get a bit out of order it only takes a word from him to stop or apologise. The fact that people like him who have seen Dartford at its lows and highs along with reg, think this is a good side , means we are. It amazes me here when people like up the darts thinks play offs is a failure when staying up was considered a achievement not so long ago. If u want to bet on any team winning this league private message me and I will lay you decent odds , ( money up front) as I think it could be one of six. We won’t be far off as we have best manager in division who doesn’t get the top budgets but knows how to spend a quid ,if he was at ebsfleet he would be ten points clear by now

All the commentators do a great job in what is both a difficult and impossible task.

Yes totally agree with the first point mate and far too often

To the second, agree we have the best manager but it ain't all about the money. It's better to be at a well run sustainable club than some rich mans plaything where they interfere with team affairs more often than not.

First beer on me mate when we can finally get to see our great team again.

Nothing to add to whats been generally said but Eliot Romain [ who I accept always puts a great shift in] could do worse than get a copy of todays match and just watch how Chris Dickson slips into goalscoring positions in front of goal with the end effect[ 2 goals] , Dickson spent virtually no time on either wing where it is impossible to score [ predator ] goals
My MOTM Chris Dickson , proves he is still a predator , just what we needed !!

The live streaming has made watching the Darts possible so I am grateful to the guys who do the work , without them Saturday would be boring !!!!!!!!

I have to agree with some of the other comments on here in support of the shift the commentators and cameraman all put in on our behalf. If it were me with the mic you’d all be bombarding me with rotten fruit for the biased, incoherent, gibberish I’d undoubtedly be spouting. The fact that they can maintain some semblance of fairness is a testament to their unpaid professionalism.

As for the football, well this time last year we were just getting over an horrendous spell of co-management from Coyle and Flanagan. Now we are comfortably a top 5 team and will be challenging for the title come the end of the season. What a transformation has been achieved by the vision of the board of directors and the main man, Steve King and his team. Yes, we may have lost a few games but no team finds us a pushover these days.

A valued part of the first team squad I believe. 10 games in and we sit top. Time for reflection. I still feel ARGUABLY that there is still an underlying section on the forum who one week criticise when we haven't thumped someone and even when we have won still tend to want to find some form of criticism but heyho. Here's some thoughts

Who can argue with the talent that has been recruited along with players already here before Kingy joined. From the back to the front Steve has used his skill and ability and knowledge of football to steer us forward. Thats maybe an understatement as who knows just how far we can go with Steve. The board have been excellent in recruiting the best manager around. Anyone who wants to say different answers on a postcard please.

The style of play. As Mr P Life mentioned if only we could be in the grounds. We would see much more than on the streaming. Take Jack Barham for example. Every football fan loves a trier in their club colours. In Jack WE have that exact type but with add ons. Hes an excellent player chasing everything down, working from the front. Captain Tom has been immense. Tom under Kingy reminds me of the renaissance Tony Adams had under Arsene Wenger. He won't like me saying that lol. OK I could go on about player after player but everyone understands what we have.

Steve King. Everyone knows of Reggies support for the DFC management even at difficult times. But this man !!!. Look at recent fixtures. Hemel, makes the change for Conor for his attacking prowess at our set peices. Bang Conor sets us on our way. Maidstone, 70 gone two master substitutions, again turns the game. Then yesterday, a number of Changes. Craig king has been excellent but true to his word Steve brings in Ethan to keep players on their toes. A clean sheet. Luke Allen (one of Reggies favourites, a lovely footballer) in he comes. Not at his best but did well. Changes at right back to once again keep his promise and players on their toes and those on the fringe knowing, yes I will get a chance, I will. Then Chris Dickson. Listen to Kingys post match interview. Total sanity spoken. As good as the players up front have been doing the facts speak for themselves. Not enough hitting the back of the net. A proven goalscorer comes in and bags two.

Ok many will say Reg Reg Reg give it a break. This constant he can do no wrong. But its not that, its the fact, that he is doing no wrong. He Is steering this club slowly but surely along with the stability that prudent off field and financial management by the board to possibly just possibly heights that we have never been too. Very early days but who can argue just where we are right now under the both the boards hard work for many years and Steve Kings new guidance. One of huge skill.

Sorry, maybe not much new there I know, but I still feel that some (not the many but the few) are still negative on this platform.
