Evidently he was doing lots of running on the pitch before the St Albans match so hopefully he'll be back soon to compete with the other strikers.

Echo the points made in defence of Pavey. TB benched him for - I think - Danny Mills (not 100% sure) in a decision which arguably cost us the 2017/18 title as H&W scooped it by just a few goals. Alfie had been rifling them in that season - including the worldy at PVR on Boxing Day - and was always going to find a club higher up when we failed to gain promotion.

Quite how anyone can say he isn’t all that is beyond me.

Absolutely spot on Mikey. It’s all about opinions but there comes a point where something is too obvious beyond anyones opinion.
Alfie was bloody fantastic and you’re right about benching him for Danny Mills and costing us the league.
Anyone who doesn’t see how good he was first time ignores not just his goals but his performances.
Why would clubs in higher divisions want him?

Some people undoubtedly get off on negativity. We've got a great squad and a great manager. We won't win every game but we will win a hell of a lot of them. It won't be easy and there are several contenders but if I had to put my money on one team for the title it would be us. There was very little between the two sides last night and if Charlie hadn't missed the penalty I think we'd have won. In the end we lost because our forwards fell short and Jeffers capped his outstanding personal performance with a wonder goal. Fitting because he was the best player on the pitch. The only disappinting thing for me this season is that our forwards haven't been hitting the levels that they are capable of. Steve King has already addressed that problem and if people give it time I am sure we will see things improving very soon. We are already up the top and things are going to get better. There will be no whinging from me, I intend to get behind the manager and the team. Anyone care to join me? COYD

We should of won and king will address and be ruthless as he’s said.
I still remain feeling lucky we have him and know he will bring us forward as he’s clearly started doing.
