All I know is that last season [with on paper an inferior squad] the 4 3 3 system [ incl a wide man ] got us loads of goals and I saw the best football in my time watching the Darts , the current 4 1 3 2 system isnt working
3rd in the league. Played 6 Won 4 Drawn 1 Lost 1. The system isn't working 🤔
Played 6, scored 8 conceeded 5. Think Duke is suggesting the system isn't working as well as the system played last year? I think the stats might support what he is saying Reginald??

A quite unique interview style there, somewhere between Harry Redknapp and Simon Day’s pub character from the Fast Show. Thought they did well despite the heavy artillery though, the Dorking recording sounding particularly as though it was conducted during Blitzkrieg.

The midfield trio play very attractive football, but I'm not always sure that they make enough chances for the two strikers. Like the Duke I would prefer to see one of the wingers play- at the moment Marsh-Brown and Modeste are used very little. The full backs both like to get forward, but as several people have said they are not getting the crosses in. We seem to be committed to playing three attacking midfielders and one in a "holding" position, with three of the squad capable of filling the latter role. Osman, who was presented as a big signing for a club at our level can hardly get any time on the field.

We had to lose sometime, but it was so annoying the way we lost that one. Three soft goals while the defence were asleep, and then to pull back twice and look as if we could go on to win each time.
I was a big fan of Jason Prior and he certainly got under Bonner's skin yesterday. I think being at Dartford was too soon after his bad injury but he got back to close to his best over the years. With now the experience to get up people's noses.
For me, a bad game to lose when being on top for 80% of it. Just wish the defence hadn't all decided NOT to turn up on the same day.
It's a blip, and I'm sure it will be a short one.

One positive from yesterday was the return of Luke Allen. I knew that he had been back in training for a while and had appeared in a few friendlies but I wasn't aware that we had signed him. It's unusual for the club not to announce something like this. 🙄

Seems to me that many will accept nothing less than
Pld 6 won 6 drawn 0 lost 0 GF 24 GA 0
We absolutely battered Dorking battered them. Yes we were sloppy in ways for their goals and it can be said "well concede 3 you don't deserve to win" I get that. But to suggest that the system isn't working is for me not right. As I say pld 6 w 4 d 1 L 1 is the stat that suggests it is. If anyone can put stats up on this platform to suggest otherwise then I will come back on and agree that Reg was wrong. As for the dislike of Dorking, well a spoilt brat in charge is the starting point. He is throwing bundles of cash at it bundles. Barry Fuller is there for cash alone. Park Life is correct when his cash reaches a level where it has no impact he will be gone. "Goodnight nurse" he is similar to Tamplin. They have some decent players of course as he can pay them mercenaries monies but of anyone thinks they were better than our players yesterday then they are wrong. I repeat we battered them.

Ozy's comment on Prior coming back from a bad injury when he joined us is true and several years ago, for the past 5 years Prior has consistently scored goals at every Club he has been at and love him or hate him he would get a bucket load playing for us !!!!

Prior and Dorking did a professional job on us and IF it had been us we would be "waxing lyrical " at the 3pts , hopefully we have learned something from the game ??

Steve King mentioned that we have two players currently out of contention. Moussa Bakayoko is one, anyone know who the other is?.
