If someone had offered us 13 points from our first 6 games, we would have taken it. We put in a good shift today and the luck went against us, especially for their first and second goals, Prior couldn't do that again if he tried and I would like to see whether the first was offside. I know that our central defenders have come into some criticism after today but I was more concerned with our wing-backs for constantly allowing the opposition to get the ball into our box. More annoyingly, we failed to get in any crosses of our own and it appears that since Wannadio left, we look weaker in that department.

I have just listened to SK on the radio and if any league officials heard his report, then I guess that he could be in trouble! I just wish he would be a little bit more gracious in defeat, he came across as very bitter and twisted today. There is an old saying "you can't win all the time".

As for the coverage of the game, I thought the live stream was excellent again and I like the new half time talks with the staff. Last week TB and this week Steve Irving, great stuff.

Kings report is spot on, but end of year let’s see who is laughing. On a serious note, Covid kills we all staying away from game we love to save life’s, to see a club disrespect this , shows a club who every club in this division should remember, and not put a penny in their bar when things get back to normal.

I think Steve's interviews have always been honest and i like that, he has even criticised our performances when we have won so i don't think he's being ungracious today. Just his usual open, honest opinion which whether you agree or not is refreshing these days and i think he summed up the game pretty accurately.

It's obvious that i'm not a fan of their owner/manager as some of the language and criticism of his own players in his interviews have imo been way over the top, it does though make a great watch from the outside   It's a timebomb which will go off soon enough.

Great goal by jebb but after that we had lots of possession but no end product.
In my opinion we needed to get it wide and get around the back of their defence.
But it is only one game and no doubt Kingy
Will sort it out.

Why slag of Dorking , we got beat cause we couldnt defend properly , the whole back 4 were [ defensively] poor and B Bobb and B Barrett got into decent attacking positions and NOT one decent cross into the box all game , Barham lively but no chances created for him, Romain looks lost playing deep and on the wings , will never score from there

All I know is that last season [with on paper an inferior squad] the 4 3 3 system [ incl a wide man ] got us loads of goals and I saw the best football in my time watching the Darts , the current 4 1 3 2 system isnt working

I don't understand how Prior was such a chicken player when he was with with us, but looks different class striker now 😀

Still, just one defeat in the opening six games, a very good start. Need to bounce back next week though.

Hard to lose a game like that - but excellent Jebb goal, good to see Luke come on and Jacob once again the class of the field.
Is there a problem with Charlie? It was plain that Elliot (once again) was getting nowhere so why not give Charlie a bit if a run instead of just a few minutes? That is my only complaint.

What a niggly side are Dorking. Such poor gamesmanship, and not for the first time either. What a pity Prior never showed that type of aggression when he played for us. Just what was he on in his aggression towards Bonner and trying to get players sent off. I wouldn't want to be watching that every week!

Sadly, their first goal caught us cold in the opening minute, just as I was settling into my armchair! Having said that, I thought the Darts went on to play their best first half of the season, with the midfield possibly having their best display. I know we have conceded 3 goals, but Dorking do seem to be our bogey side, with the 3-4 home defeat last season too. So much on top, but we need to be more clinical in front of goal in the way Dorking showed us today. Disappointed with the result, but not with the overall effort and performance. Jacob will be my MoM nomination today. Cracking goal by Ebbs too!
We should have put the game to bed in the first half. We didn't and we have suffered for it. Apart from the result, enjoyed the game.

I wonder whether Marc White and SK are still the best of friends after that match!!??

Strange that all 5 league games ended as away wins today. Says it all really.
