I assume this is a joke.
Tom Bonnor is on another planet to Lee Burns. Even his career will tell you that though I don’t need to use that analogy as I can see it for myself.
No disrespect to Lee Burns and he was great for us but Reg that’s an insult to Tom Bonnor.
A completely different level mate.

Lee Burns was better than Tom Bonner up front.

In some divisions.

I never liked the way Burnsie treated Smithers.

This Les Burns post seems to have caused some confusion. I wish to point out that it is not LEE Burns. But our now in heaven legend Lesley. I was talking to a good friend and saying about our past players. Imagine telling Danny Light youve broken your third metatarsal and you cant play. Just imagine it. Graham Carr the man who bought TB for just 1k. A lot then of course but turned out to be fantastic value thank you Graham. Onto today and what a team and squad Kingy has assembled. This is a great time to be a Dartford fan. A great time. I go on and on but I feel I have to in thanking both the board for EVERYTHING and also to Steve King. Your nailing this. Yea its enormous and who really knows what will happen. Who does ? But we have a great chance because of you. Certainly I dont think we would be in this position under anyone else. But thank you Directors for having the spunk to roll with this talent. Whatever happens we are in a great position on and off the field.

Cheers Parky! That Diarra of theirs was so lucky not to get a 2nd yellow for that late challenge on King (Gk not Mgr) at the end!!
Also as an aside why do H&W wear squad numbers & names on the back of their shirts?? I didn't think that was allowed until the Vanarama Premier stage?
Is it just another Doswell BBB thing, to make them seem eliter than the rest of us?

We never even had metatarsals in our day, eh Reg. Goalkeeper Bert Trautman would have been labelled a wimp if he'd gone off just because he'd broken his neck and If you could still crawl around the pitch you were fit enough to play. In those days a pub crawl either side of 3 games in 72 hours was called Christmas, today they cry their eyes out if they've got 2 games in a week! Pussies, the lot of them.

Admittedly, a lot of the players from that era ended up crippled or disabled, but hey, the good old days.
