Re: Darts V Eastbourne - Sat 8th Sep.
Another new striker signed today. Hope he speaks English! I can't see all the other four strikers staying, so surely Duke is right about departures.

[quote="the duke"]You are spot on spike , it really is time for Adam/Coyley to weald the axe , the truth is that so far the only new player who would have got into last seasons runners up first 11 would have been Ben Greenhalgh [ need to see a few more games before I decide on Charlie ?]
Knowles?
Knowles?
Re: Darts V Eastbourne - Sat 8th Sep.
So maybe a front three tomorrow of Knowles, Sheringham & Ba ???
Re: Darts V Eastbourne - Sat 8th Sep.
I dont really count one month LOAN signings [Knowles] as our player as he could easily be recalled so no guaranteed consistent value to us , IF he were to be a season long loan then I agree that after 1 promising game he might turn out to be a success !!
Re: Darts V Eastbourne - Sat 8th Sep.
Hopefully our attacking options have improved with Sheringham and Ba plus Knowles.
However we set out tomorrow it will be tough, Eastbourne have conceded very little this season so far. Let’s hope the form guide is turned upside down.

These latest signings have the stamp of Jamie Coyle's management style written all over it. All be it in tandem with Flanagan. He puts together a squad. Gets rid of the main striker who goes on to score loads for his new team. Realizes that some or most of the rest of them aren't good enough. Then goes out scouting for replacements in the hope that they will improve the situation. Dartford could be in for a long hard season of chopping and changing I'm afraid

I hope so. In our current situation, it's a case of better the devil you don't know.M1 South wrote:So maybe a front three tomorrow of Knowles, Sheringham & Ba ???

I maybe wrong but was it Coyle who didn’t play pavey what was one of the reasons he came to us?
By the way I’m not having a dig just asking a relevant question

Correct. And probably the main reason Pavey moved on too.Kentc wrote:Buzz stop wrote:These latest signings have the stamp of Jamie Coyle's management style written all over it. Yes Jamie kept him as a sub and didn’t really think he was up to it so released him before the season started. Sounds a bit familiar to another forward as well, now who was that againKentc wrote:Buzz stop wrote:These latest signings have the stamp of Jamie Coyle's management style written all over it.
