Listen to bath Manager on bath city twitter another man should just get on and stop moaning be different if Bath were leading at half time
Having seen Jerry Gill's interview I thought it was a fair assessment from an opposing manager. I don't believe there was too much whingeing on his part. Along with Kingy he is a top manager at this level and I can't blame him for being concerned for the welfare of his players.
He didn't really take anything away from us, infact he was more complimentary tipping us as certainties to finish in the top three. I'm guessing he's backing himself to be there too, as any ambitious manager should, with the biggest threat being Havant & Waterlooville.
I really believed we would have been promoted if we got passed them in the play-offs. Unfortunately, like Corona Virus, that penalty shoot-out in the final was something I never saw coming during my lifetime.
But my stance on Paul Doswell's side hasn't changed.
If he finishes behind Kingy at the end of the season, then it's automatic promotion for us.
After watching the highlights, we were slightly fortunate to take all three points. We dominated the first half and the start of the second, but didnt take our chances. Having said that the team played well enough to grind out the win against a tough opposition who had their share of missed opportunities. So full credit to a hard earnt 3 points. Cant wait for us to get in 2nd gear, the signs are there....
