I can think of positives. We didn’t play well at all yet rather than lose due to a bad performance we stuck in and got a respectable away point. I’m sure Steve king will put it right.
Tom B mom by miles for me.

All credit to H&R on getting the match screened, so very thankful for all their efforts in doing so. There is no doubt , as SK says, that the lack of fans must have some effect on the players. I wonder whether it is the same thing that caused such scores as Liverpool, Man Utd and Leicester suffered last weekend too!
It wasn't the best game to watch from a Darts attacking performance, but again, credit to H&R for competing for the whole game. To me there were times when perhaps they could have put us to the sword if they had been more clinical, and had it not been for another top class performance from our defence. My MoM this week went to TB who just edged out Ronnie.
I have to say I am still struggling to identify many of the newer players when watching on a laptop screen, so not going to comment except to say we haven't quite reached the levels we showed in the Dover game, when the inter passing and movements going forwards was excellent. I don't think we are too far away from it, but despite the unquestionable efforts from the team, just not quite clicking. But it will come!! I find it quite incredible that after only 1 or 2 games played, there are only 2 teams with maximum points. To be undefeated and with no goals conceded after 2 tough games is fine by me at present. Don't be taken in Kentc. If UTD is chucking a few breadcrumbs for the pigeons it's only because he has a shotgun behind his back.Kentc wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 12:11 pmUpTheDarts wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:53 pm Only positive is another clean sheet. Just lacked in every area when attacking, ref was poor too.
Hopefully the goals will start coming but can't see King being too happy with that
Nice to see constructive comments. Please remain this way then your contribution will be interesting to read like everyone else.
At least, thanks to covid, he can genuinely claim to be going to as many Dartford games as the rest of us these days.

I can't believe some of the negativity on here!!!! We're recognised as one of the favourites this year.... so do we expect our opponents to just roll over and make it easy for us? I don't think so!!!!
Four points from six (against two decent sides) and no goals conceded is a good start and I'm well pleased with that. Any successful side is built on a solid defence, so I'm satisfied and have no doubt that once the squad beds in, we will play with greater confidence and freedom.
Just have some patience guys!!!!

We are one of the favourites for promotion.
The expectation is understandably high
Yes it has been a stuttering start but we will improve because we have far to much quality
Not to.
We are not going to win 5-0 every week because there are some very good teams in this league.
A bit of patience please, the season is a marathon not a sprint.

Ronnie is hardly a surprise in the team. We all know what a gem he is. He didn't sulk, just kept plugging away and is now deservedly in the team.
