Sounds like a dull game. Solid start to the season. Building from the back

I’m happy with the start. 4 points and no goals conceded. All great teams are built from solid foundations and we have looked in good shape from a defensive aspect. Keep getting that right and it will eventually allow the more creative influences in the team to show what they have. It takes time for a new team to gel and I have no doubt it will come good. Let’s not forget that we have gone from being relegation fodder to promotion favourites and that brings a different set of pressures.

My MOTM was Tom B closely followed by his defensive partner, Vinty.

Geez, some people are very negative. Two difficult games, unbeaten, 4 points, no goals conceded. Sure it wasn't a thriller today but Hampton are a decent side and this was a good result. Contrary to what someone said earlier , they never looked like scoring, neither side did, it was a game dominated by defenders. I honestly don't know what some people expect. It's a decent, very solid start and I'm sure there's good things to come. Let's have a bit more positivity and appreciation for a hard fought draw at a difficult pkace. Credit to our defense. My MOTM today was Tom Bonner, it was good to see his partnership with Vinty back to its best today.

Looking good from where I’m sitting. And let’s face it, two games in and only two teams at 100% records. It’s going to be hard.

Pleased we are where we are, but can’t enjoy it without going to the game and seeing all you lovely buggers. Getting no less disenchanted with the situation. Missus is starting to get a stranglehold on Saturday activities and I’m worried there could be no way back. Match looked pretty dull from what I saw of it.

Agree that we will get better with the squad we have we ought to. Early days as said, perhaps we are expecting too much. But we do look clonky and wooden at times. Agree that the defenses ruled yesterday, Bonner and Wassamer were massive. I first saw Charlie when he was playing for Margate and didn't rate him at all.

Hopefully the goals will start coming but can't see King being too happy with that
