Just purchased my ticket and looking forward to this game to get my footie fix, as are a few other distinguished gentlemen :)
Just highlights how ridiculous the current measures are when we can watch this match but not the first team.

It's a yes from me. I've seen a few decent games watching the youth team (and our ladies team) and since we can't watch the first team these games are a good way to ease the pain. Would be great to see a few extra Darts fans there.

Some great football being played here tonight. Young Darts had full control of the game going three up in the first 30 minutes. Unfortunately after a big punch up just before half time they won the red card award 2-1! Which is a real shame. Hopefully the remaining 9 will keep their cool and run out winners and through to the next round.

Spent a most enjoyable evening watching the youngsters deservedly win through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup. An incident just before half time resulted in one opponent and two Dartford players being shown red cards. Not sure what the officials saw or heard to merit two reds for Dartford, but it set the match for an entertaining second half with the Darts 3-0 ahead.

The first couple of minutes of the second half saw Tooting exert pressure with the extra player, but Dartford quickly adapted their shape and before long were looking to extend the lead. The Darts scored first in the second half, but Tooting claimed their first and only goal of the match shortly afterwards when the Dartford keeper was not able to hold a long range effort and the rebound fell kindly for a striker.

The Dartford players retained their composure and looked comfortable on the ball. The team spirit was very evident with players committing themselves in support of their team mates. Even though legs were beginning to tire, Dartford kept looking to attack rather than to play out time. They were rewarded with a fifth goal.

If you enjoy watching players who are confident on the ball and who are happy to take on their opponents, come down to watch the next match. You will not be disappointed.

Punch ups, red cards and six goals. It was certainly an eventful game. The young Darts were vastly superior and wete cruising at 3-0 when they got provoked into retaliating and ended up having two players red carded along with the Tooting player who instigated the fracas. Against stronger opponents, this foolish lack of discipline could have cost Darts the game, bur truth is that even with 9 against 10 Darts were too strong for the visitors and managed to increase their lead and went on to win 5-1. Apart from the lack of discipline, it was a very good performance from our lads and a great game to watch. Well done lads.

The Academy teams seem to have made a very good start to their season. I am just glad that Ben Greenhalgh felt able to continue as Academy Manager after losing his place in the first team squad.
