I believe this is everyone in the current squad:-

King
Wady

Braham-Barrett
Barnum-Bobb
McCallum
Bonner
Hill
Vint
Essam
Wynter

Berkeley-Agyepong
Husin
Ijaha
Jebb
Marsh-Brown
Modeste
Abdul Haq Osman

Barham
Romain
Sheringham
Mitchell

Brodie - out on loan.
Fernandes - I'm not sure if he is still at the club as I've heard rumours he has gone back to Colchester?
Luke Allen - not heard any official announcement.

Apologies if I've missed anyone.

It’s a formidable squad, not sure if we have ever had such a large, talented squad like this.

I agree Gregg and the two most recent additions, Osman and Mitchell both looked very promising yesterday. It looks like there is so much strength and quality in all positions.

I can't help thinking though, that the playing budget surely must have increased significantly this season, when several clubs at our level are feeling the Covid pinch. Eastbourne Borough (another well run club) for example, announced last week that they have lost more than £100K since March. I don't know how we're doing it, but well done to the Board!

Hi Dave,
The playing budget is not an issue, never has been and never will be.
My understanding is that the budget has not significantly increased (if at all) and we are now at the level set by the club and have a decent squad due to the very good financial management by the club and Steve King.

We have and always will be run very well financially and you could say that due to the current situation we are now reaping the rewards of only paying what we can afford, we all know several other clubs run their financial business in various other ways so are now far worse off than they would be if they only paid out what they actually generated themselves, rather than from outside sources . Take into account the new measures just announced by the government and the revenue streams coming into the club from outside football activities i don't believe we need to worry. Of course no club in the current circumstances is 100% secure but i'm pretty confident we will run out of opponents to play before we end up in financial meltdown.

Thanks for that Steve and I have 100% faith that the Board would never allow the Club to live beyond its means. As you say, the current quality in the squad is real testimony to Kingy's astute management and perhaps illustrative of the woeful value for money delivered by the previous management, as virtually man for man, this squad is head and shoulders above previous ones!

Player News | Moussa Bakayoko has moved on and has now left the club.

We wish Moussa all the best for the future.

From our twitter - not sure why they don't just say he's moved to Havant as 2 minutes of searching told me that was the case. Don't know why our social media doesn't give us the full details and we have to go searching?

SK just mentioned in his interview he played and scored against us last season for Billericay and here's the highlights:-

He caused us a few problems that day, has played a fair few games this season for Stevenage and has a decent scoring record in this division.

Welcome back Femi "Magicwande".
