Yes good news, from DFC Twitter:-

EMIRATES FA CUP 2ND QUALIFYING ROUND | Dartford v @sloughtownfc
The match will be played behind closed doors.
Fans can stream the game by visiting this link https://bit.ly/2G5wkka
It costs £10 to stream the game.

Mixed emotions though as pleased we can stream the game but gutted we won't be able to actually watch in person.

The competition also takes on far more importance as although prize money has been reduced to 2017/18 levels a good cup run could be vital to some clubs:-

Delighted with that news!!
At least I get to see a game I wouldn't otherwise have been able to see, so extra money into the DFC coffers.
Hopefully many more will be registering to view the game.

The FA's stance in compliance with the government is as follows.
1. An Elite club drawn against an Elite club to be played behind close doors.
2. An Elite club drawn at home to a non Elite club to be played behind closed doors.
3. A non Elite club drawn against a non Elite club. Fans permitted.
4. A non Elite club drawn at home an Elite club. Home fans only allowed. What a load of bollocks.

What with VAR at the top of the table and the ridiculous illogical decisions being enforced towards the lower end of the pyramid, the government bodies are destroying the game.
FA = Football Association? Don't make me laugh.
F***ing Arsoles is more appropriate as far as I'm conerned.

Funnily enough, TalkSport's Adrian Durham was banging the same drum half an hour after my post, almost word for word. Perhaps he had seen my comments lol.
He also remarked on how Wealdstone are allowed to live stream their home game from inside their clubhouse against Chesterfield on Saturday. Yet, surely it would be far safer to view the match outside in the open air instead of being cooped up inside, where no doubt every seat will be taken.
And just for good measure they have to blackout the windows so the supporters can't even see the pitch.
This whole charade would be bloody hilarious if it wasn't for the sheer gravity of the situation and the carnage the consequences will cause Non-League clubs to suffer, if the powers that be don't wake up and smell the coffee real soon.
It seems to me the people in supposed authority, who are making a pigs ear of distinguishing between League and Non-League football, through their totally illogical decisions, could do a lot worse than receive an almighty kick up the backside, preferably from a size 12 boot!

Steve. I have to agree! I am not usually a critic, but the only link I've seen to stream the game is the one posted by yourself on this thread on Monday. There should be a BIG easily spotted link on the home page of the official website. I wouldn't have a clue how to find the link that you found and I am sure there are many fans like me, but many also don't necessarily visit the PureDFC site either and even if they did, they might still not pick up on your individual post. Neither am I a Twitter fan or user and it is only ever used to pick up on match updates.
It's very frustrating because the club is possibly missing out big time at a very exciting time in not marketing streamed games. DFCTV have done an excellent job on behalf of the club so far, and we need to build on it.
