If we don't get the go ahead for Tuesday why not change it to Saturday against Barnet?

If the committee is not prepared to sanction the Tuesday game going ahead with a crowd, I don't see why they would be any happier with approving Saturday's match. I suspect that the Club will have done everything it can to make things safe and ensure that the trial is successful.

I hope I am wrong but just listening to the current covid update it could be that crowds will not be allowed.
If that's the case it doesn't explain why some of the other clubs have already sold tickets.

Yeah but the announcement from the government is no different to what has been since March distance yourselves from people when you can.
We are lucky PP can hold over 4K people and as others have said common sense needs to be applied.
But let’s see....

SEPTEMBER 21, 2020
We are very excited to announce that our pre-season friendly v Dover already scheduled for Tuesday 22nd September has today been sanctioned and will go ahead with up to 1000 spectators.
This is a huge responsibility, not just for the Club, but also for all our supporters. We all need to step up to the plate and show that not only can the Club and its employees ensure the safety of such a number of people, but that our supporters can demonstrate that they understand the measures put in place and are willing to abide by those restrictions.
We appreciate that attending games for the foreseeable future is going to be different, but it is vitally important that the National League starts on the 3rd October as planned. We need our fans to play their part It is therefore incumbent on all of us to play our part and ensure that we have a full capacity of a thousand and that so we can show the relevant authorities that Dartford FC and the Vanarama National League are fully prepared for the return of spectators.
