Today the women played there first pre season match and won an entertaining match 3-1. I know some of you do watch the women like myself, we still want/need more sponsors to support the team, so if interested please come along to the next match at pp in a fortnight. As its behind so call close doors we watch from the bank going into the golf course.

Another pre season match under there belt and with a convincing 7 nil victory, the girls are now getting together nicely, the week before they were away to a team in a higher league and they got well beaten. we had two fee kicks 35/40 yards out both resulting in goals, the keeper didn't move for either, cracking free kicks. last pre season is next weekend again at PP 2 pm kick off. come and watch you might get hooked like me and the rest of there followers.

DFC Women 1st team at home this Sunday 1st league fixture 2pm kick off. V Ashford town Middlesex.

Our women won 2-nil on Sunday, well earned points against a very physical side in Ashford town, the girls held there own and scored in the first half Lizzie Adams on 21 mins. Jo Woodgates made it 2 nil from the spot. 3 points to start the season off Not Bad. This coming Sunday we are at home again in the FA cup, got to the final last season but of course could not play it

Cant have got to the fa cup final last season as the quarter finals are later this month

It was the Kent FA Cup to be played at Chatham FC ground in March.

Dose any one know if the manager Paul Taylor is the same guy that scored a winner for Enfield in the FA Trophy final at Wembley in the early 80’s

The girls won 8 nil this afternoon against Ramsgate women fc. Good workmen like performance, once again the back four never gave them a chance, I felt a bit sorry for Ramsgate as they play two leagues below, but kept trying throughout the 90 mins. I don't know how the Kent Fa work this out for the preliminary rounds, to me it's just not fair to the lower teams to get hammered in such a way. still onwards we go.
