Whatever happens it is going to be a headache for the club. Whereas, I want to be getting back to watching at the moment I'm hoping what 'The Futures White' is saying re the club streaming home games is true. I would be happy watching games that way until the covid situ is sorted if it came to it. I would also, as said happily pay the club my admission fee while doing it.
So many ways to help keep the club afloat financially.

Of course season ticket holders should get priority, that's kinda the whole point of a season ticket. Set limits on the number of season tickets by all means, but once the club has sold one, the owner has an absolute right to expect to be granted admission ahead of someone who hasn't. Season ticket holders lost out on a few games last season and didn't complain yet despite the risk, they have made a commitment to pay for another full season. Subject to the legal covid limits and the law, they have a moral and legal right to expect to be admitted. There is no debate to be had here.

Anyway, I'm sure the club has this all in hand and there will be tickets available (in advance) for matchdays.

Oh yeah, the “pandemic”. Might be that we’ve only got a few fans left anyway. Forgot.
I’ll be there at half one with my friend David Icke, the salamander. At least he can go in goal if Sesay gets injured.

Absolutely season tickets holders should get in for the reasons Spike mentioned, otherwise what's the point of buying one.

I don't personally see any problems arising as i think the games will have to be all ticket and will be available in advance either online or at the ground. This also sometimes helps create demand but will allow the club to control numbers and plan appropriately.

Dependent on how many are allowed in the ground and taking into account people are desperate to get out and watch a match if it isn't all ticket it could easily end up with too many turning up stuck outside the ground unable to get in.

Well there you go then . If we have 300 season tickets and we are allowed 600 fans in then the club can sell 300 tickets to whoever . Problem solved

A test event at Brighton yesterday had 2500 people for a ground that holds 25000, so we could be capped at 10% only!

My understanding is that clubs at step 3 are restricted to 30% of their capacity, with a maximum of 600 allowed to attend. Ground capacity is cut off at 1950, so any grounds less than this would just be a maximum of 30%. A sliding scale is used at each step below, with capacity cut off at step 4 & 5 1350 & 1000 respectively, so 400 & 300 allowed in.

Assuming the same method would be used, I’d imagine a cut off point of between 2500 & 3000, so 30% of that would be between 750 & 900, which wouldn’t be too bad considering.

Based on that then if it was 750 , take off the 300 season tickets there would be 450 on general sale

A question for the Sepultura fans* then...

Who has won? Who has died?

*There probably aren’t any, “but forum rules remain...”

I pity those who are tasked with sorting this unnecessary mess out. Love you all, DFC family.
