Without a shadow of a doubt we must have the strongest squad in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if we went through the league season unbeaten.
I'm not saying in will be easy, nothing ever is in in football, but I'm 100% certain we will. promoted automatically.
Confidence is one thing, but to be arrogant about it is bad for business. This South division this coming season is surely the toughest ever, if any Dartford fan thinks all we need to do is show up to win this league is deluded.

One game at a time folks......

Fortunately, Kebabus, I suspect the Manager will share your approach.

Agree, let's not get ahead of ourselves and put unnecessary pressure on SK and the team.
I think a realistic approach is to try and improve on the previous season so the first target is to be higher than 4th from bottom in October ;) ;)

I have to agree, pride cometh before a fall.
Anyone who thinks that we only have to turn up is in for a shock!
This is a tough league and we will have to scrap for every point,
Confidence is one thing but Arrogance is something else!

I'm loving the confidence on here, but people need to keep some perspective. What we have is a proven successful manager and arguably, one of the strongest squads we have had in recent years, with yet more to come. We are definitely equipped to mount a serious challenge and I am confident we'll be up there with the best of them, but there will probably be 6 or 7 teams with eyes on the title and this is a highly competitive league. I'm just enjoying the fact that with Kingy in charge of such a talented group of players, I believe we are CAPABLE of winning it, which doesn't necessarily mean that we will. One thing that I am pretty sure of though, is that this coming season is going to be a lot of fun.

Agree with Spike. The National League South will be one of, or even, the most toughest ever.
This years play-off contenders will no doubt be in the mix again while others strengthen to improve on last season. Like ourselves, Hampton didn't have the best of starts but just missed out on the play-offs. Experienced manager Ian Allinson will be looking to improve on, which was by their standards, a very disappointing season for St. Albans. Steve McKimm will be looking to kick on with Tonbridge.
Chelmsford City, forever referred to in recent times as a sleeping giant, will suddenly wake up soon, sending shockwaves of volcanic proportions through the league.
RB Ebbsfleet will no doubt be in the fray under their new German manager.
Maidstone, despite reverting to part time will be no less of a threat, while Havant & Waterlooville must be favourites not to lose seven games at home next season!

Hey Lincoln, if Kingy has to look at his paperwork to see who he's signed, I'm sure I'm allowed a one little slip. Anyway, I was so excited by that signing it was understandable. Of course I meant Jacob

Whereas, I'm sure we must be favourites NOT to start like we did last season Ajaxman.
