When Luke left before it was to play for a club at a higher level (Bromley) whereas I wouldn't class a move to Billericay in the same bracket.

I did suggest last week that there could be a few unexpected departures and I think that Luke Wanadio could be classed as one of those. Without the publication of a retained list we have already seen the likes of Pugh, Blackman, Hayes, Crook and probably Smith depart as well as Wanadio. I'm sure Mr King will advise us of who is staying and who else is leaving in due course as well as more new signings.

Was it Bromley, Aldershot and we got him from Dulwich?
I think he's had around a dozen clubs in the last 8 years so doesn't seem to want to stay anywhere long.

I thought we got him from Welling, unless the info on my profiles page is wrong.

"Signed for Dartford on 28th July 2016 from Welling Utd.

Previous clubs: Tooting & Mitcham, Kingstonian, East Thurrock, Hampton & Richmond, Redhill,
Dulwich Hamlet, Staines Town, Welling, Bromley, Aldershot.

Left the club on 25th May 2017 as he wanted to play in a higher league & become a full time player & signed for Bromley on the same day.

Signed for Aldershot Town in June 2018.

Signed for Dartford on 3 June 2019.

Signed for Billericay on 12 August 2020."

Luke was an expected departure for me, he was an unused sub in the final and King often used Luke as an impact player from the bench. Nash and Sheringham were played ahead of him. We thank Luke for his efforts but it’s obvious King never really fancied him so he’ll bring his own players in.

I was a tad disappointed that Luke wasn't introduced to the Weymouth game, I think he would have added some spice as we were not making any in-roads when Weymouth seemed to be happy to play the game out.
Still, wish the kid well and probably see him next season.

I’m disappointed to see Luke go. Anyway, it’s so quiet on the clubs media pages - what’s going on? Retained list, new players?? Also, pre-season friendliest, new kit (I guess a new away kit is due?) and, anything really (but no news is good news I guess!)

Really don’t understand why the club don’t put a statement out on social media when a player has left the club. We’ve seen Hayes, Pugh, Blackman, Nash, Crook and Wanadio all leave but we find out through other clubs when they’ve signed. Is it too much to ask if we could find out they’ve gone before they’re announced elsewhere?

Keeping their supporters up to date has never been one of the club's strong points. We're often the last to find out.

I have absolutely no reason to criticise the Club, just both anxious and excited in equal measures to receive some news. Buzzing for the new season!

Taken from the official site:

Steve King has now had discussions with all the players from last season, and we can confirm the following have agreed to sign for next season.

Tom Bonner

Josh Hill

Ronnie Vint

Craig Braham- Barrett

Sanchez Ming

Noor Husin

Jack Jebb

Elliott Romain

Cameron Brodie

The following players have left the club:

Luke Wanadio

Mark Smith

Darren Mcqueen

Tyrique Hyde

Billy Crook

Nick Arnold

Liam Nash

Ryan Hayes

Andy Pugh

Some of these players, after being offered terms for next season, have chosen to leave Dartford FC to seek clubs at a higher level. Some players were the choice of Steve King to not offer any terms for next season and have been released. We wish them all well in the future and thank them all for their hard work and dedication to the club throughout their time with us.

The remainder of the players from last season are still in discussions with Steve and a further announcement regarding them will be made in due course.
