Players in/Players out 2020-2021
Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
It is going to be the same for many clubs and even some of the big money clubs may be affected if the main businesses of their owners are taking a financial hit too. Perhaps players and agents can put their thinking caps on and consider the chances of any promised monies offered by clubs after their services will reach their bank accounts on time, in full and for the whole length of the contract. Besides there will a lot of surplus players around so the boot may be more on the clubs side in the foreseeable future. I feel certain the club will not offer more than they know is affordable.

New signing announced at 11.30. Who will it be?
Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
SIGNED:
Jack Barham signs from Dorking. Previously with Barnet. He seems a very promising prospect.
Welcome!

Looks an excellent signing, was at Barnet before Dorking, they thought a lot of him down there and he has a chance to shine at the Darts, welcome aboard!

This is where I believe, we are in a strong position, we have other decent income streams now as S.I. Hinted recently.Lincoln exile wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 11:46 am The problem, Kebabus, will be funding these signings if, as seems very likely, we have to operate on gates of 600. Most clubs are planning significant budget cuts, unless they have wealthy owners who are willing to pay out their own money.
I mentioned in another thread about the finances and fully aware we will be under pressure because of the situation with fans, but if a decent number of season tickets are sold and capacity set at around 1000 sooner rather than later, then game on!
I remain optimistic that SK can assemble a good quality squad in spite of restrictions. Sooner they are relaxed or lifted, all the better.

Funding these signings ? The DFC forum is now well known for just being for the few not the many. Just get your head into gear. Next season is going to be a massively hard league. Adjust to that. We are no gimmes. We have the best manager. He will get the best but don't go thinking this is a formality on the basis of a joyous 9 months. ITS NOT. But but but. He is the best. Not a bollocks from him. He is. This league is amongst the toughest.Kebabus wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 10:58 amThis is where I believe, we are in a strong position, we have other decent income streams now as S.I. Mr South, it is well known and a forum rule to ignore Reg after 9.30 pm. His tablets are wearing out by then, and he is quite often suddenly taken drunk.
Arthur my dad was out of Broadmoor yesterday on day release, we just celebrated a little bit too much
Anyway love to all.
Reg.
