Its always nice to get promoted but going into the conference next season with the possibility of limited crowds,no away fans and extra travelling it could have been a hard season.Hopefully things can get back to normal in the next few months.

When I drove home from Tonbridge in September after another pathetic display I simply
Couldn't see how we were going to stay up .
Fortunately our joint management team resigned and after TB steadied the ship then along came
Steve King and what a difference his team has made to our season!
Yes it has been one hell of a ride and hopefully SK will stay and take us up next year.
Better players than ours have lost penalty shoot outs and today was not our day.
Time to regroup dust ourselves down and win this league next season.
Thank you Steve and your players ......We shall return!

He is a troll and why people haven't worked this out yet and keep bitng is beyond me, ignore him and he will go somewhere else.

As for today, gutted but a few months ago we would have been happy staying up.
We go again next season.

Your right Park Life but was so gutted about the result so responded which was wrong of me and I apologise but would love to meet him at a game one day
You'll will never meet him at one of our games as he's not a Darts fan.
Best to completely ignore him and eventually he'll go away.

Having parched my thirst I thought about the game. Once again, I thought that Elliot was poor, but Kingy couldn't leave him out because he would be in the right place at the right time for you. But felt he should have been subbed with Luke adding to the game maybe. Marsh-Brown did nothing when he came on and McQueen struggled throughout. If we were going to score it was going to come from midfield. Hyde was bright but faded.
Back four were solid, with Wynter once again playing very well.
But my MOTM goes to Braham-Barrett, played well down the left and got in some crosses, if only we had someone to take advantage.
Onwards and Upwards, in The King we trust.

Bizarre that all our penalties ended up in Normandy but that aside, this set up has restored the faith after we looked 3rd rate after Tonbridge.

Echo the thoughts of die hard Darts, WE are ALL proud of this magnificent effort to make the play offs.

Feel sympathy for these boys but we go again in October.

It wasn't to be, but I imagine all Darts fans would have taken this ending to the season way back in October. Could be a blessing in disguise with all that travel and expense that comes with the National League and a real possibility of attendance restrictions for next season.
We have a great Club to support, well run by an incredible bunch of people and I have high hopes for 2020/2021.

Hard luck, from a Weymouth fan. On the balance of play I think you just about edged it. It’s not right that a game of this significance should go straight to the lottery of penalties!

If you start next season the way you finished the regular season, I’m sure you’ll be there or thereabouts again.

I do fear for us a bit in the National League, having been promoted back to back. It’s going to be a big step up, in terms of fitness, strength and quality. Another season in the NL South probably wouldn’t have done us any harm.

Good luck next season 👍

Very disappointed not to have won but penalties are always a lottery, hence why all managers requested extra time.

Congratulations to Weymouth and good luck in the National league.

We move on, hopefully Kingy will be with is next season, I would expect a few clubs would be looking at both him and some of our squad in the next few weeks considering how well they have performed since September.

If we can retain SK and the squad there is no reason to expect a thoroughly entertaining season.

With the uncertainty at this current - stage long term it may not be such a hammer blow missing out this year. To be clear I want promotion and wanted it today but we may be even stronger this time next year if Kingy can make such a significant difference during the season, I hope having a full pre season and being able to shape the squad over a longer period of time we may be a better position next year.

Can't take anything away from Steve King. To get us into the playoffs was a magnificent achievement. To get to the final, conceding only once and to not lose in regulation time was outrageous.

Very proud of everyone
