At a guess as their contracts (if they had one) would’ve expired and it’s already been announced that they have joined other teams, I don’t think Kingy required them as he’s got enough players so no they won’t be playing in the play off’s at all.
If Kingy had any intention of using them in the play off’s then it wouldn’t have been announced that they had joined other clubs.

My admiration for Pugh has no bounds. Hopefully he’ll get back to his brilliant best.
Would Sam fit looking at kings teams before lockdown. Depends on who else to choose from.
Ryno is not good enough and hasn’t been for a while. The progression of the side without him is no coincidence.
I hope all these players are amazing at their new clubs and are happy, they deserve to be.

Anticipation building up now as the game and opportunity to finish on a high is fast approaching.
I've never been a fan of 6 teams involved in the playoffs, but having been victims of being beaten by a team back in the 5th/6th places ourselves, I am not saying no to being given that chance now.
It's going to be really interesting to see how these games pan out after a 4 month layoff. Form will be out of the window. Some top teams have struggled to get into their stride. Others, like Brentford have got off to a storming start and putting their bid in for the automatic promotion to the Premiership.
Just hope I have success in tuning into the game on Sunday.

Great post Pete. Starting to get nervous about Sunday arriving and still not knowing exactly how / where to watch the game.
Don’t think either club can justifiably rate their chances above evens. The game will be settled by penalties if all square after 90 minutes and one team is going to be straight out after four months of ‘hiatus’.
By the way, who is Briggs?

29 hear old Guyana international, signed about the time of our last game. Plays at full back. Started at Fulham where he became the youngest ever Premier League player. Several clubs since then, many in the League.

Mikey, I thought all clubs had voted against penalties after 90 minutes as they didn’t think it was fair and they all wanted extra time first and then penalties if still no outcome.DA Mikey wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2020 5:27 am Great post Pete. Im sure that’s what Steve King said in one of his interviews.
Or is that what you meant?

To think that the progression of the Side without Ryan is the reason for that progression is stupid. Away from attacking one of our greatest ever, the real reason we know is Kingys ability to attract another level of player. Add to that the fact he runs a football league style operation, being methodical with everything he undertakes, leaving no stone unturned, travelling miles each month to painstakingly analyse opponents, looking out for new players, now I think you get the real reason for the improvement. And I've only scratched the surface.Kentc wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 2:53 pm

Kentc you do realise Ryan Hayes has a stat that no other DFC player can claim. The only player to help us to THREE promotions. So based on your earlier theory that can't be only coincidence surely ! Sorry everyone but back to the thread, COYD we can do this.
