Not a surprise that Pughy has gone, he was a great player but unfortunately very injury prone and after his pre-season injury and being out for so long he was never going to fully get back to his best.

Sorry to see Pughy go, on his day a quality footballer but that double leg break was always going to be a tough one to take.. We will also miss his Dad a very enthusiastic supporter of Dartford who was worth 3 Dartford supporters with his verbal output delivered at high volume. Best wishes and good luck to you both.

I was one of many who wanted Mr King to be our manager but there were some who were not keen.
All I know is that he has been a breath of fresh air and the quality is there for all to see.
He is well known in non league football for his style and passion.
and that is where the contravercial tag comes from imho.
But if it gets results long may it continue!

By far the most capable candidate of a pool of quality managers that applied for the job. Superb appointment - the playing record proves that. Roll on the play-off’s and, if we’re unsuccessful with our bid for promotion this time around, we’re in a very good place for next season!
