Whether the game is 'streamed' or not anyone who has this club at heart should pay as if coming through the gate. £13,000 is a lot of money to spend out to achieve the play offs only to get to the final and lose. But if we can I believe we should go for it. We were the team to beat when everything came to a halt. I believe SK had a team to be frightened of. The guys a genius and players wanted to play for him.
Whether we are given the chance or not in my opinion has already been made but there's no reason to sit and do nothing. I hope the club voice their opinion.
It would be a great achievement by SK and the club if we were given the opportunity along with the voices of all other clubs in the top seven.

Is this the case ? I don't actually think this is a factual representation of the DFC stance on the play offs taking place.

If play-offs do go ahead the matter of the costs involved is rather interesting. H & W furloughed their entire squad, whilst the Darts continued paying out, should H & W add H.M. Government to their list of sponsors? Or maybe they could take on a higher share of the expenses involved if the games are played ? Perhaps they could add that to their list of suggestions to resolve the issue along with their 2 up campaign? All in the interests of fair play naturally.

I know that there are bigger fish to fry with the impact of Covid-19, BLM, infiltrated protests but the National League management really has seemed to bottle it with regard to NLS and NLN. The NLP 'closed-shop' doing its best to find an excuse to avoid too many relegations and the soft touch is to point to a very grey Government definition of Elite sport. They should do the decent thing and allow the play-offs to proceed for those clubs that want to and have done with it. The Clubs promoted, staying where they are or relegated from the NLP can then get on with structuring their squads for whichever league they find themselves in.

If the NL wishes to show ALL member clubs that it operates on principles then they should abide by principles.

Well the Scottish League Clubs have voted to accept the League's proposal to end the season ans Hearts have been relegated to the Championship.
Now Hearts are taking the legal route and are challenging the decision in the courts. That will result in a good chunk of the football kitty going to the lawyers. Should they win the other clubs will effectively being paying the bill which no doubt will go down very well. Regards our position even Chorley are claiming their relegation would be unfair (looking at their position with 6 straight defeats, must have their tongues in their cheeks), and other clubs are saying the legal route would favour those with rich backers with bottomless pockets like Ebbsfleet. :D . Off course if any club succeeds through the courts there could be appeals, so the set up any league could be months away from being sorted out. Might settle the problem of playing in empty or having socially distanced fans though.

Have just read on the BBC Football site that the vote has been put back due to a delay in issuing papers. It was tucked away in an article about Boreham Wood's chairman who has re-mortgaged his house to see them through the pandemic. Ironically B W voted to end to end the season without play-offs, but will be in them if they take place. Its a funny old game. No news on the club or league sites, not the greatest of surprises.
Just checked the H & W site, their latest update says there is no update. They are pushing for 2 up without playoffs, but the league rules say only 1 club can be promoted automatically, so its play-offs or nothing, or the law courts. Real football real close.

Looks like Bath City are going for them.

So thats Havant , Dorking, Slough, Bath, who are definite. If Weymouth say yes, it would just leave Dartford

So there you have it - summary of Ordinary Resolution to be voted by NL clubs

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Eak6XytX0AA ... name=large

A total of 17 votes could swing the decision to have NLS and NLN play offs if legally possible. The number of clubs relegated from the NLP will be decided by IF the play offs happen to ensure that 24 clubs remain in that division.
