So although this season hasn’t 100% been confirmed as ending I thought I’d start up at single thread where we can discuss all the inevitable comings and goings.
Liam Nash has said his goodbyes on twitter so I’m guessing (not yet announced by the club) that he’s first out the door. Had some vital contributions towards the end of the season and I believe there is a good player in him wherever his next destination is. Good luck to him.
In other news Tyrique Hyde has been released from Colchester and I would love to see him join us permanently. He’s some talent.

Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
From what I heard Liam was offered a deal for next season but took too long in getting back to the club with his answer. When he eventually contacted the club to advise that he wanted to sign he was told that he's taken too long and the offer was no longer on the table. It's a shame if that's true because he was beginning to look like a decent player and the club obviously thought so too if they offered him a contract for next season.
It appears that the management aren't giving people too long to make a decision once they've made them an offer. The message is If want to play for the Darts don't take too in making your mind up or you'll miss out.

I’ve just had a look on Nash’s twitter page and couldn’t see anything on there about him saying goodbye.

With his extensive knowledge of the game, player profiles and contacts to fill an encyclopedia, SK is not a man to be kept waiting.
And if anyone can salvage some gems from this shipwreck of a season, it's him.

I agree with the futures white and maybe SK. I get fed up with waiting to see if a star player or a player that the club is interested in keeps the club waiting to see if there's something better around the corner for them.
If DFC's not enough for you then DFC shouldn't have to wait for you to make a decision. Whether that is the case or not we know that SK will look elsewhere.
A player of Nash's calibre, because from what we were seeing, he was improving with us, should not linger in making that decision.
As for Tyrique, he may be a step to far for the purse in signing him. But yes, it would be a great coup for the Darts.

Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
Pointless signing any players until the league confirm whether the season re-start's in August, I expect a half season with the league to resume after Christmas, the only alternative is to play behind closed doors...which is a non-starter at our level or expect clubs to play with a reduced capacity (circa 1000). It would make no financial sense to have players picking up a wage for doing nothing while spending money they don't have. There was a good report on South East news last Thursday of our struggle, along with Maidstone, Tonbridge & Dover. There will be a lot more players looking for work this season with reduced budgets/smaller squads etc and I would fully expect players to receive a lower wage to boot under the current circumstances.

Too right we shouldn't be waiting for players to see if they get a better offer!
Re: Players in/Players out 2020-2021
SK turned our season around and I honestly believe
that we would have done well in the play offs.
So I have complete faith in his ability to bring more quality
Players to the club.
I liked Nashy but it sounds to me that our management
won't be messed about.
