Whilst being very reassuring about the future of the club the preferred choice to play for promotion and that the club will be ready for next season, I don't think that after 67 years following The Darts I have heard and read a more moving statement from Steve on behalf of the board.
I am so proud to be a supporter of this club and all the work that the directors and fans have put in to keep us going over those years and I am wiping away a few tears as I write this.
I am sure that this is a wonderful pick me up for all of the fans and I hope that you are all staying safe and well and i look forward to seeing you all again next season. :D
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou

What a fantastic positive statement by the board. Congratulations on that 👏 Hopefully we can retain this great group of players and staff and kick on as soon as is feasibly possible. Well done all. 👍🏻

Well done to the board - a measured and thoughtful statement with no bluster.
I am sure that we all support the fact that DFC is playing its part in supporting both the NHS and the players and staff during this difficult time, and maintaining its position as a significant contributor to the local community.
Well done - I am proud to be a member of the DFC family.

Great statement.
I did wonder what the club would do with regards to contracts etc. and the fact we are run so well puts us in a position to be able to do this.
Well done everyone at DFC.

I have had a little chuckle to myself as some clubs may have wanted to take the furlough route and then realised that you can't claim 80% of cash in hand payments, ALLEGEDLY of course.

As others say, it is a fantastic statement from Steve, and makes us even more proud to be associated with the Club at this time. Supporting the players, staff and local community so well is quite amazing and demonstrates how well run DFC is.

Well done to the Board.

Stay safe, fit and healthy everyone.

Great statement from Steve & the board and shows respect & loyalty to both the players & back room staff. Hopefully that same respect & loyalty will be shown by players when it comes to re-signing contracts if offered.
Fantastic to hear the club is safe and well where many others are really struggling.
DFC really is a family club as well as a club for the community. I love DFC my one and only team.
