On Facebook, Instagram & Twitter they have just copied the National League's official statement and there is no mention of the news on the club website (what a surprise!).
But is hasnt officially finished yet. The remaining regular league fixtures will not be played , that's the only decision so far.

That's true Reg but I still think that they should announce the news of whats happened on the website. Not everyone uses social media or the forum.

This will be devastating news for a number of clubs financially ; some clubs have already announced that season ticket holders will be reimbursed for those remaining games or be discounted for next seasons tickets ? either way this will put enormous financial pressure on a majority of these clubs ? I am not sure how many season ticket holders The Darts have ,or whether this will affect our club significantly in any way ? but i for one will gladly forfeit any reimbursement has not to put any more unnecessary strain on our club and i would like to think other Darts fans will be thinking along those lines as well ?

We only had 3 home games left so £42 is the maximum anyone would get back hopefully everyone would do the same.

About £10k, based on 250 season tickets. Surely no one would clamour for a refund.

I can't see another ball being kicked in anger again until a cure has been found for this pandemic and that is the way it should be under the circumstances. I have so many questions moving forward:

1) Will SK get a team together once a lockdown exit strategy has been put in place. Maybe, he already has players lined up ready to hit the ground running with.
2) Surely the club won't put players on a contract until there is a start date for the new season.
3) How many clubs will actually survive?
4) Would players expect a lower salary due to the extra amount of available players floating around?
5) I can't see the league starting up again in August and how could clubs survive if the league make teams play games behind closed doors. If this is the case, surely it would be been better to continue the current season after Christmas to give everyone time to plan a way forward.
6) Will Ozy manage to get a flight home from Wellington in time for the new season?

Very interesting article on the BBC Football website about the National League. Read it and just be grateful that you don't have to sort it out and keep everyone happy.

Yes a very interesting and almost unbelievable number of different possibilities suggested so we will just have to wait on the leagues final decision
