But no news on how the season will finish in terms of promotion or relegation, so we still have to wait!

It goes without saying it’s not the most important thing right now but is there any talk of when we find out how it pans out with final positions and promotions and relegations. Etc etc

National League Clubs were asked to support an ordinary resolution on 9 April to end the Playing Season for all fixtures scheduled up to and including 25 April 2020.

With almost 90% of responses returned it is evident a clear majority of Clubs are in favour, including a majority of Clubs in each of the National League, National League North and National League South divisions.

In the knowledge that the ordinary resolution has passed, the League’s Board has chosen to communicate the decision now and before the last few responses are received, which will not change the outcome, to enable Clubs to make business decisions with greater clarity as soon as possible. Clubs yet to respond still have an opportunity to do so, and the League wishes to include as many preferences as possible before the final voting result is declared.

National League Chief Executive Officer, Michael Tattersall, commented, “At a time when the entire country is wrestling with the devastating impact of Covid-19, the cancellation of the remaining normal season matches brings a degree of certainty to our Clubs coping with the business implications of the virus.”

In consideration of the very serious and unprecedented national public health emergency caused by the coronavirus, National League, National League North and National League South football activities have been suspended since 16 March. The options concerning the sporting outcomes of the 2019/20 season remain under careful and timely consideration, and further updates will be given in due course
That's the statement made by the league and "due course" appears to be the phrase doing the hard work

Inevitable, but the correct decision imho.
We all love our club and our football but
there are some things that are more important
Take care everyone and keep well.

Speaking purely from the perspective of a DFC fan, it’s difficult not to be disappointed. We had such a terrible opening to the 2019/20 season but after the management change it all got so much better. We were romping the form table, playing good football and the gates were healthy, too. On the other hand, had SK been at the helm from last summer, it could have been even more at stake. This is how Wealdstone will feel and of course there is a chance that relegations and promotions could still come into play, but it’s surely far more likely that the divisions at non-league level will be populated by clubs that can afford to operate, as suggested above.
Now that all clubs outside of the ‘big four’ are ceased for the ill-fated 2019/20 season, it can’t be long before statements are issued for the EFL.

Mikey, been in charge since the summer, the trophy would have already been presented in February and in the cabinet

I think it's a bit odd that the club has made no comment about the season finishing. On Facebook, Instagram & Twitter they have just copied the National League's official statement and there is no mention of the news on the club website (what a surprise!).
