Not much left to say. Very enjoyable all-round performance, as proved by every outfield player attracting a vote for MOM, while Mark had nothing much to do.

Would have gone for Billy if he hadn't suffered an injury (hamstring?) as he controlled the midfield and set up so many attacks, but voted for Craig B-B who impressed for his tricky balls kills, overlapping and crossing like an old-fashioned left-winger, always teasing and beating his defender.

Probably last match for a while before season suspended and/or self-isolation is imposed on us oldies, but will have great memories until we meet again. Hope the season will be extended to a normal finish, even if it eats into next season.

My mom ......Noor Hussen, this bloke is a class act
Another excellent signing by the King.
There were some great performances but Noor's cool finish for our 3rd goal was sublime!

If the worst comes to worst and the season is suspended then it's worth listening to Tom Bonners podcast to help fill the time. I attach a link

But with a game in hand and now only being 7 points of third I hope it goes ahead in some format.

I can't remember such a one-sided game against Chelmsford. For those who didn't attend it was like Fury Vs Wilder all over again, the third goal was exceptional with a great through ball from Jebb and in porn terms, they got well and truly dicked. Enjoy.

The only downside was listening to Chairman Dave on Radio Kent after the game. It was a good interview but he came across as the Grim Reaper.

Many people expect this to be the last match for a long time. If they are right it is difficult to see how clubs will survive, with no income through the gate but players on contract still having to be paid.

Skip wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2020 8:53 am As someone said on Twitter, we might have played better in patches in previous games but we were almost totally dominate against a Chelmsford team that always comes to the Park expecting to bloody our noses! Well the boxing glove was on the other hand today! I’ve been waiting so long to give them a tonking and how we delivered it today. I recall beating them 3-0 at Watling Street back in the early 90s but there ain’t many people around who can still remember that!

The only shame was that our dominate display didn’t result in a 6-7 nil thrashing but that’s being picky. The Chelmsford keeper was pretty much faultless (bar the first goal) and produced one wonder save from Macca that I’ve not seen bettered all season. What is also pleasing is that our defence is keeping regular clean sheets now which gives us the platform to build and then dominate our opponents.

If DJ Reggie is around can he please spin that old Jam classic That’s entertainment when he has 5 mins to spare?
For you my friend anything.

Have just had a listen to Dave Skinner's Radio Kent. Doesn't make for happy listening but sounds like a realistic summary of the situation.
Perhaps the club could rustle up a form for fans to make a down payment on a 2020/21 season ticket, issue a receipt, then pay the balance when this season is sorted and we know where we are in the pyramid. That money could help us through the present crisis, and gate receipts from the delayed 19/20 home games could go towards next season's budget. Anyway, the way the talk is going about us old 'uns and the virus, it might be better to get some cash out of us before it's too late. We are doomed, doomed I tell yer, doomed :o
Good luck to all clubs battling to keep going through this very difficult situation. Hopefully we can all stay well and enjoy uninterrupted football as soon as possible.

Absolutely superb performance from our lads. We completely obliterated Chelmsford and the scoreline didn't come close to telling the story. Our lads were magnificent and dominated from start to finish. Chelmsford were outclassed and outplayed. Such was our domination at 0-3 down our visitors were wasting time in an effort to keep the score respectable. Chelmsford's resistance was comparable to a man in a rowing boat trying to fend off an advancing battleship by chucking jellybeans at it. Their two full backs were annihilated and are probably now in therapy. Well done to all our lads, MOTM is one of the hardest ever but in the end I plumped for Liam Nash.

If football is to be suspended and the season cancelled then at least we went out on a spectacular high.

Nash is now looking a good signing now he is getting a run in the team but Noor Husin is some player thought he was outstanding Saturday.

The only 4 survivors for the 4 nil drubbing at Chelmsford are GK Smiffy and 3 defenders Josh,Tom and Jordan funny how our defence was such a shambles and now looks so good SK has worked miracles with the defence.
