Vital win and hard fought, sounded like both managers were unimpressed with the ref today, how often do we say that at this level?
They have had some decent results here and there and as previously said, a tough place for Dartford to go and get a result.
Our team certainly have quality and skill but grinding a result like that is a trait that takes teams a long way. Credit to everyone involved as we have momentum going into the stretch. One game at a time and it's great to see the team and management appreciate the fans efforts.
So team Dartford on a great journey under SK, I can sense the feel good factor all the way out here, it is great!
Very happy chappy.

Isn’t it strange how we all see game different? I thought ref had a good game and thought he could of given them another penalty second half! This was a tough , tough game , and their number 8 was the best player I have seen all season. We gave everything and as a fan that is what u want to see, we all like winning 6-0 but we also like seeing forwards running 40 yards to defend. Loved the beer selling table at corner of the ground, run by two fans, took me back about thirty years ! A very vocal Dartford support , would be even better if everyone joined in, I went to bed with WINNERS still bouncing around my head! ( u had to be there to get that one!) Great tactics by Kingie, esp the substitutions .Stevie King , STevie King , Stevie,Stevie King , he’s four foot two and if he was blue, he would be a smurf!!

First time I have seen us get a result at St Albans but we had to fight for it and came under a lot of pressure from a St Albans side who were much better than their league position suggests. Their number 8 was the best player on the park but our Amrit B-M also had a good game. The Ref had an interesting game the first two penalties seemed straightforward a Dartford defenders arm brushing the ball for theirs and Elliott Romain being tripped from behind as he shaped to shoot, a beautiful penalty kick by Darren bang top corner. However the Ref came down on our side for their two big second half penalty appeals booking their player for diving and waving the other penalty shout away. They hit the post second half but we also had a couple of decent chances to put the game to bed. Our defence worked hard and held out and we get the 3 big points.

Their number 8 was exceptional and caused us problems all afternoon, but credit to our boys for holding firm and grinding out the result. Personally I don't think the ref got a lot wrong and I had no complaints about his decisions. We haven't had much success at St Albans in recent years but there's a new confidence within our club and I think we all went there with belief and high expectations. Our lads didn't disappoint and having recovered from the early setback, stood resolute to grab the 3 points. I wasn't too sure about Liam Nash at first, but he's really come good lately and for the second game in a row gets my vote for MOTM. Well done Darts.
Re: St Albans (A) Sat 7th March
Played some good football first half and defended very well second half and as others have said their No. 8 who i believe is on loan from Watford was very good. Three hard earned points which keeps us nicely placed in the play off spots.
Good amount of Darts fans there as well, i would estimate around 150.
MOTM difficult decision as the two halves were so different and you could make a case for a forward player based on the first half and a defender on the second, will have a think before casting my vote.
