I checked with people around me at the time before I announced it, and then when asked the question, I did a bit more checking at half-time & full-time (including with the touchline team) to make sure.

Liam has tweeted he's happy with his two goals.

Excellent result, into a final which is fab! Commiserations to Phoenix who did very well to make the semi final.

Squad has had minutes in the those legs now so Saturday's starting 11 should be a good headache for SK.

Our exciting run in and end of the season assured.

COYD!

Ah, fair enough mate, it seems quite a few of us got that wrong. Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that this was Liam Nash's best game for us since he arrived and he gets my vote for MOTM, narrowly pipping the also excellent Amrit Bansal-McNulty. Another enjoyable evening and we have a cup final to look forward to. Happy days.

The gap in class was very evident, and with no disrespect to Phoenix Sports it was always going to be an uphill struggle, in what was more or less our first team. Entertaining game with good one touch football and some good goals. Look forward to the final.
Motm: Amrit Bansal-McNulty
