Not conclusive , but still believe their player was a yard offside for their equaliser ?

That free kick! A certain David Beckham would of been proud of that! What a debut goal.

Sesay, never again, big mistake there, rushing out all that way.

It is clear that SK is not standing still and will improve the squad if a better player becomes available.

As I said at the start of the thread and SK and Jonty confirmed, it was all about the 3 points in difficult conditions.

So midweek game in KSC then a trip to Wealdstone, now that should be a cracker!

The ball travelled a long way so even if the E B player was in an offside position when he received the ball may well have been ok when the ball was kicked. Offsides can be very tricky to judge, there was an interesting programme on the BBC Scotland Channel where some of their tv pundits went on a linesmen training day Part of the course was judging offsides, as with a lot of jobs that other & we think we could do much better its trickier than it looks.
I would have liked to have seen what happened when Darren got involved with their No.3 in the first half. He did seem to kick out at their player but play had moved on and the officials were looking elsewhere and it all fizzled out. It would have been interesting to see all that happened as the initial connect didn't seem too bad. Did the No;3 do something to upset Darren I wonder? Had the ref. looked back at the wrong moment Darren could have been walking. Still as with their goal its all water under the bridge and just something to discuss now.

Totally agree Llamaman , linesmen get enough stick from the sides as it is ,and i could never imagine doing the job they do ? But this was not a criticism in any way of the linesman , it was just my interpretation of the event from where i was standing , but as you say its water under the bridge now and we look forward to Tuesday. :)

And then of course there's the off-side decision from the throw in??? Unless the linesman/referee saw something else. Could have saved our bacon or at least two points.
