I hope for his sake he thought the throw-in flicked off somebody else first!

Boy did we miss Elliot Romain, but we ground out 3 points in a scruffy game in a gusty wind. Highlights were Jack's freekick and Darren sending their keeper the wrong way from the penalty spot. We will have to move up a couple of gears for the visit of Wealdstone.

We have brought a lot of players in and it is inevitable that
some will leave.
Charlie has been a good servant to DF C but he is now a squad player and needs game time which our new manager
cannot give him, rumours yesterday that Charlie won't be the last one going under our new regime (only rumours)
So buckle up and hang on tight.

Does anyone have any clue to the above?.

On a different matter does anyone know what the current situation is with Andy Pugh?. He broke a thumb back in early December but there has been no news of him since. Is he his still injured, back in training, left the club?.

Following the darts is such a enjoyable day out, mainly due to the characters that attend, some really decent fans who make every game a experience! On the pitch it was a tough game against I thought a half decent side. Results show anyone in this league can beat anyone, so grinding a win is just as important as a 5/0 thrashing! My only negative is how some still cling onto their old fav players and the minute anyone new does something wrong( like the keeper today) straight away there are comments about bringing the old keeper back or the old attacker, shouldn’t we be trusting Kings judgement? Has he let us down so far? Where were we under the crowd favourites start of this year, wasn’t it bottom three? Anyway another amazing day at princess park, good to see players in bar all very approachable and good to see so many young fans singing as they are the future.

Don't know if it has already been mentioned but I thought that the referee had a decent game yesterday .Not because we won but....
After the useless clown who took charge of the Hampton game he was a breath of fresh air imho.

A good win in difficult conditions. With the wind playing havoc with the game it could have gone either way.
Once the lead was regained it was a case of getting the three points over the line by hook or by crook.

Good point I agree. Biggest compliment I can give is he didn’t try and be star of the show and was not the talking point of the game. Didn’t agree with every decision and could of been tougher with Eastbournes slow it down tactics from the start with throw and goal kicks taking forever. But to be fair that’s being picky. Well done ref if by some chance he’s reading.
