On budget I'm worried that if you look at Dartford youth academy on companies house you can see we have an income of 80 thousand quid. Yet 40 thousand leaves the club on salaries and 30 odd thousand on "other costs" !!! With a profit of only 3 thousand. I'm sure all must be in order but how can this be.

One last question was anything announced about the sad passing of Lenny yesterday over the tannoy. Len was a fan for decades and had to carry sure a huge tragedy over his later years. Can anyone tell me if it was announced. After all we had a minutes silence for the Shoreham air disaster !!! RIP Lenny. #reunited at last

You make some well detailed points I must acknowledge. The budget does of course matter.
But this does not excuse what’s going on. It’s not how good the opposition are it’s how poor we are.
Our poor performances as a team and some individuals are not because of money.
If you or I went our we’d give our all no question and the management have a game plan.
When these two things improve then any difference in big money signings may tell.
At the moment we can’t even get the minimum requirements right.
However, we are not a small club in this league so should be competitive at the very least.

Well I have been on holiday with the family for the last week so have missed three games the 0-0 concord away which I would have gone to and yesterday’s defeat. Not being able to comment on the performances but mid table and 600 attendances are not too far away , Alex wall sounds like the mistake of the season. Also how many games have we agreed too for Bradders to miss ? Should we have invested instead of allowing this ? Only time will tell

No one mentioned how poor we are after Chelmsford. And Elliot was ill yesterday.

Positive move by Flan/Coyley as is paper interview Flan says that 2 new players will be training with the Darts on Monday so perhaps the " shake up " begins ?????

IMO out of the new signings Ben has done well so far and Billy shows promise.
Also we have not seen enough of Jamie to form any opinion yet.

Unlike Duke I didn't leave before the end of the game but I missed the first 15 minutes rushing from a wedding. In fact, as I settled into my usual position Deren decided to play at full back and completely screwed up.
He then went on to save us from a 5-6 goal hammering. The 'solid' back 4 that has kept us in some games has been found out by a much smarter/quicker attacking side. Completely went missing.
I am in some agreement with the idea that some players are out of their depth or maybe just do not have the heart to compete.
Wealdstone were a good side and unlike HH knew where the net was and will likely figure at the end of the season in the play-offs. I am sure we are going to meet a couple of teams who are likely to be a tad better than the Stone's and I hope we have sorted out what is a bit of a calamity after last season. We are not used to it and those who clamoured for the head of TB/change are probably 'keeping their head down'.
Adam and Jamie must be given the chance to sort out the side, not that there is a call for early dismissal, but the likelihood of that after 10 games may change.
Won't comment on the game, but I liked what I saw of Roast, and for me Coyle's admiration for Driver early pre season, in the paper's, come's into question. Again.
The said Wedding reception was held at the club in the evening and after taking my mate home went back to the ground to find Tom Bonner walking past me on his way home. I don't know which of us had the longer face. :(

Don’t start this crap. If you want to look at it like this then how much change is there.
A couple of old Dartford boys to replace a Dartford legend by the Dartford friends club on the board.

I wanted change, a change where someone who is their own person and a fresh change.
Two new guys with Dartford connections and Tony in the background is not a fresh start.

If you like the blame game then at this point the only blame is the people who recruited the new management team and didn’t have the balls or desire to hire outside the Dartford connections.

I will make it clear, while not overwhelmed by their appointment from a bottling decision making board I give flan and Coyle my 100% backing and support. I believe they will turn this around and I praise them for at least trying to get our team to play passing football, on the deck on the grass where it should be played.
The aimless hoofball shi*e has gone and thank god.
It’s tough times but they’ve my full support to get through it.
