We are at home on Saturday against Eastbourne, the squad would have been training hard after a free Saturday. I am sure that at this stage it is not about anything other than the 3 points on offer, to maintain our play off position.
Fingers crossed that the bad weather passes. We will be without E. Romain.

I’m sure SK will carry his thoughts on team selection through from last Saturday to this. Can’t wait - hate weekends without football. Agree, 3 points important - no easy games now. All teams scrapping for what they can get!!

This will not be easy, even with Eastbourne struggling as they are. We have to knuckle down for every game. We are now becoming the team to beat.

Wow what a weekend coming up. The fixture list is so fascinating. Who could have believed we would vying for a play off place as we currently are. I still cant believe it. But then I look back and I should. Look at the quality we have in the squad, when you have a player such as Lee Noble waiting his turn it shows where we are now. Let's get as many friends up there Saturday and show both our appreciation for what is happening, and do our hardest to give the lads that extra 12th man from now til the end of the season. Sing it long and sing it loud. COYD

Yep, even our DFC Walking Football Squad members will apparently be there for an extra mile of support, at Princes Park...

Really should be beating these at home if we want to make the playoffs
Re: Darts v Eastbourne Feb 22
Any one know how the pitch is, lots of bad weather etc

After last weeks postponement itching for my football fix this week.
With Elliott missing we may well see Liam Nash start up front and with several options in centre mid SK has some real selection decisions to make.
But all the options look good and we have real competition for places in all positions.
Quietly confident but no easy games in this league so hoping the players put in another decent performance and get the victory to keep us in contention.

Well Sheringham certainly won’t be starting as he’s now on dual registration with Leatherhead.

Well, there's struggling and struggling. Eastbourne are unbeaten in National South since Boxing Day - eight games - but six of those have been draws. They are not full of stars but they are capable of digging deep. With the options at SK's disposal I'd make you favourites, but don't rule out another draw...Ozymandias wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 9:42 am This will not be easy, even with Eastbourne struggling as they are.
