Hampton and Richmond home February 8

Post by Kebabus »

So excited at the moment, I thought I would start the match thread already.

What a game in prospect this coming Saturday! 2 teams locking horns on the back of big wins - 5-1 for us and 7-1 for H&R.

Expectations and excitement mounting under SK and why not, we have seen a tremendous turnaround from the previous manager(s) efforts and the change on and off the pitch is there for all to see, everyone buzzing, including me out here in the desert!

The amazing thing for me which in living memory we have not had before is the ability of a Dartford manager to go out and recruit quality players to replace so many injured players, to keep the momentum going, instill competition for places all over the park and restore lost faith.

I will be glued to whatever media there is covering the game and be with everyone cheering the team on to another 3 points, inshallah!

Are you talking about the huge metaphorical storm that's going to hit Hampton & Richmond Reg?

... otherwise the forecast for Saturday is cloudy with a 20% chance of rain, high 10C, low 7C.

Not exactly Hurricane Katrina.

The predicted stormy weather is for Saturday evening into Sunday morning, countrywide I think. Hopefully we will all be safe and snug indoors celebrating another win.
Weather update, Storm Ciara from around 6-00pm Sat through Sunday. Wind up to 60mph inland and 80mph in exposed places with heavy rain.
Lots of rain due in the first part of the week, will 'Riccays pitch be ok for Saturday week?

Given the comparatively low level of rain in the past couple of weeks, if the forecast for next week proves correct, I can't see any other answer than no.

With their crap pitch I thought Bill & Ricky occasionally play their home fixtures on the 3G pitch at Aveley. While we are playing well and winning we don't need a blank Saturday.

Somewhat unexpectedly, I find myself able to travel down for this match for my second game of the season.
Just hope we didn't use all our goals up in the last league game, but then again, H&R might be thinking the same!!
Could have been going to Prenton Park to see Tranmere host Portsmouth and I also had an invite to Goodison for the Everton game v Crystal Palace. But out of the 3 games on offer, it's the Darts for me and I'm looking forward to seeing the new look side and an entertaining game against a team that went second in the table with their narrow midweek win over Weymouth.

Late night? We’re playing Hampton & Richmond.

It was Havant & Waterlooville who went second in midweek after their win over Weymouth.

Can’t be there Saturday and gutted to be missing out but should be a great game!
