Hang on a minute! I've just viewed the voting. We won 5-1, and the midfield/attack are getting rave reviews? I know it's early days, but can someone tell me why AJ's leading the voting? Could it have been 6-5 to Chippenham but for him?

When we went down to 10 men, they really came back at us.
If it wasn’t for our keeper we could have lost the game, he was truely outstanding.

Sounds like a pro performance all round!
What a turnaround after the antics of our previous
management.
Football is all about ups and downs.
We are on the up at the moment so, enjoy the ride folks.
With Kingy at the helm it will not be for the
feint hearted!

That old cliché “game of two half’s” certainly applied to this game. In difficult windy conditions, the Darts took full advantage of the wind behind them and ruthlessly punished Chippenham to the point that it was suggested that we should declare and call it a day  ,we even had the decency to gift them a goal through a mix up at the back ,such was the dominance ?Second half they had nothing to lose and put a lot of pressure on the Darts defence, and with us going down to ten they had the wind in their sails (pun intended), but with Sesay in goal and our defence standing firm we held out for well deserved win. I don’t agree that we were in danger of losing this game as was mentioned , even when we were down to ten we still put pressure on their defence and their goalkeeper was called in to action on more than one occasion so it wasn’t all one way traffic , I just believe our players handled the conditions better than theirs. Overall another entertaining game and looking forward to the next match “bring it on”

Few things from yesterday - Chippenham have a truly unique VAR system which was implemented about one minute after Liam Nash netted our second goal, whereby the referee watched the ensuing celebrations, then cast an quizzical glance over to the linesman and stuck a thumb up. Seeing this, the lino subtly nodded his head and the ref ran back to the halfway line. I’d love to know what would have happened if the linesman had reacted differently!
On the subject of Sesay, he made two excellent saves in the second half as the Chips began to take advantage of their extra player. A couple of his kicks did stray, but given the strength of the wind this was forgivable. On the whole, he had a fair bit to do and did it very well.
Lastly, a strange debut for McNulty. Scored from a seemingly impossible angle - basically on the goal line - with what I thought were some of his first touches. I felt it took him quite a while to get into the game, then once he did he was sent off for what appeared a very naive act of petulance.
Very enjoyable day though and would be interested to know if we have hit five goals in the first half before.

Since his mistake against Slough I think Sesay has been great. He has made good saves and his handling has been superb. Yesterday's first half was one to remember. I personally don't think a come back was ever going to happen, even with 10 men. We defended brilliantly and managed the weather much better than they did. A great day!

Looking forward to next week. 2 teams coming off the back of impressive wins.

Thanks for the explanation. AJ has been a breath of fresh air in goal (no offence to Mark) and is getting quite a fan club at the ground.

There will be an interview with Steve on Tuesday, apparently, according to James.
