Wealdstone (H) - 18th August 18

Post by Jonty »

Been away for a few weeks and now looking forward to my first league game of this new season. Trawling through all the previous posts suggests that we have made an indifferent start to the season and that the new team needs a little more time to bed in. Have to say that I was very disappointed to see Alex Wall released and sorry to hear that Andy Pugh picked up a very bad injury, this appears to have left us a little light up front. Bring it on.

Ain't you the lucky one Jonty. I hope for your state of mind that you/we see a vast improvement from the HH game. Can't comment on Concord, but we will have to pull our socks up against a highly fancied Wealdstone side.
You should have been here for the Chelmo game, now that was a cracker. Let's hope for a performance like that.
Up the Darts.
Plenty of time yet, as you say, to bed in.

Wealdstone are always tough when they visit us. They made a lot of their summer signings early (more time to gel) and have the same sort of start as us this season. Hoping for a win and Philpot to get off the mark! COYD!

Roger/Gilesy.

Industrial action on SW Trains today. Warnings of additional cancellations and disruption - not to mention serious overcrowding on the trains that are running.

So can't make the game today. B*****ks.

Wealdstone are always up for the challenge against the Darts, and after Mondays win over the other team, they will be extra buoyant.
So COYD and let us put the last two performances behind us, and "Fingers -crossed" a win,and hopefully a few goals.........

Unable to make today’s game due to work commitments. Hopefully there will be an improvement on the last 2 games. Will be following closely on the twitter updates.

I've been away for a bit and missed the HH and Concord shambles, which came as a big let-down after the two wins. I'm hoping for a much better performance this arvo - but against Wealdstone...?

An unusual look to midfield with neither Bradbrook nor Noble available.
